Coming to Praque after a week in Poland, im sorry to say that the Chopin was somewhat of a disappointment. There are a number of things at the hotel which are more than sufficient. The building seems to be in a good state, but the charm of the façade is not apparent on the inside. The people working there where...

Dear Guest, thank you for staying at Chopin Hotel Prague and taking your time to share your opinion with us. We are sorry that our hotel didn't meet your expectations. I would like to emphasize the fact that the Hotel Chopin is a 3-star garni hotel. Our goal is to offer good value for money. Concerning the size of our...

This hotel is just one block from the train station, yet it is quiet and comfortable. Our room was small, but serviceable. The bathroom was small, but spotlessly clean and in tip-top condition. The elevator accommodated us and our luggage. The buffet breakfast included scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, sausage, all kinds of bread and croissants, muesli, yogurt, juice, coffee...

The room is very clean and air-conditioned. Also there's a buffet breakfast included with a wide variety of choices. Wifi signal is strong and friendly staffs at the reception. Overall it's worth for money.

Opposite the main train station in the middle of Prague, it is in a very convenient location for those traveling on public transport, like myself and my partner. The staff spoke English very well and was able to meet our needs. We requested that if it was possible to check out at a later time on the day we were...

It could be better if Expedia did not screw up our reservation. Before I leave country, I tried to straighten out. Expedia agent told me he did and received updated confirmation which was updated on label only. Consequently, we with my adult daughter must suffer in a cramped space. At least, manager understood and did not charge extra. Location was...

This hotel was just right for a visit to the beautiful city of Prague. Well situated opposite the main railway station and far enough away from the lively city centre to be quiet enough for a good sleep. I liked the very decent breakfast being available from 7 am, which lets you make the most of the time you have....

We stayed 4 nights at the hotel in room 318. The room was very clean and quite big. The only thing missing that we can think about is a mini bar, but overall the hotel is much better than 3*s. We have stayed in many hotels and seen 4* hotels worse than Chopin. The location is great, especially for those...

Although this hotel was close to the railway station, it was a 10 minute walk from the old town / St Nicholas Square. The staff were very welcoming, the rooms were clean and modern and the breakfast had plenty of choice. Our room was in the eaves, with the windows on the slopping wall/ceiling and curtains which hung straight. This...

Perfect location if you need to leave early for the train as it is right across the road. The room was very spacious as well as the bathroom. The beds were comfortable and I absolutely loved the huge pillows they have. Their complimentary breakfast was sufficient enough. Hotel was located just a short walk to the main areas and then...

I stayed one night arriving late after train journey from Munich. Excellent location immediately across the road from the train station - easy walking distance with a bag. The room would have been even better if an additional bed had not been placed on floor but I did not ask for it to be removed because I was only staying...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
