The location of this hotel is fantastic, just a few minutes from the Old Town Square (i timed my walk and it took me 7 minutes) and the street is very calm and well lit. I travelled alone, and i had no problem walking back to the hotel after dark, i felt very safe. The room i stayed in was...

We stayed in hotel for 4 days/3 nights. Location of hotel is prefect - very close to center, but in calm street. Breakfast very good - everybody can choose something or sweet or salty or fruits - everything there. We had normal, nice room, could be little bit bigger. When we arrived - at reception very very nice guy (with...

The place is so good !..! The food is the best. The room is good. You are in the center of the town you are near to everything. The workers in the hotel are very nice and helpful. You don't need to travel by car through the town you have to walk

Stayed here over a long weekend and had no problems at all despite the bad reviews. Rooms were spacious and comfy and the hotel itself is in a great location and is within walking distance of everything you'd want to do. Strongly recommend this place for a group of friends not families, we were worried about the hostel comments but...

Went here with a group of Friends in October, was very disappointed in what we found. When we arrived the service was slow at reception as there was one staff dealing with about 20 people checking in. When we were giving our keys we were given directions which took as around the back of 'hotel', past the kitchen staff having...

The hotel is just a 5 minutes walk away from the Old Town Square. The staff were really kind and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was perfectly clean. The breakfast was awesome! Everything tasted good. The minus I would have to say is the noise. You could hear people walking outside, doors closing, and people in the...

Hotel Rubicon is fantastic for a city break. Literally a few minutes walk from Old Town (which features stunning Christmas Markets this time of year). The hotel has numerous bars, restaurants & shops on it's doorstep including the James Dean 50's themed diner which serves a spot on breakfast! Hotel Rubicon itself features nice rooms which include all the basic...

Perfect balance between price and services. Location is 5 stars, very closed to city center. You don’t need any bus or taxi. Minus related to parking place. You have to pay separate and per day is 20euro for car. Big rooms and nice breakfast. when we arrived, person from reception explained us that we have to stay in other location...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
