We stayed here the last two nights of our 8 day visit to Prague. The first night we had more family with us, so we stayed in the four bedroom on the top floor. It was huge and even had a spiral stairwell to its own rooftop lounge. half the family left, so we moved down to the studio and...

If you want the location to be Wenceles Square then these are ideal. Be aware that if in a group, like we were, then you could be split along the street. Not all apartments are in the same building, ours were across the road from each other and a distance apart. Having said that the concierge was very polite and...

Great location, loads of room and cheap as chips. We had the big 4 bedroom aptmt for 10 of us, roof terrace was superb with loads of space. If your coming back to your aprtmt after 10 beware of the lovely girls outside markies & they're equally lovely minders! 10 min stroll to old town square. Defo go back

Booked an apartment directly on Wenceslas square, as a native Czech I knew the location very well so it was the main reason for me. The square is always busy but nothing disturbing at least not for me. It is very convenient for shopping, restaurants, sightseeing, you basically cannot get anything more central. Apartment itself nice, big, with a fully...

We decided to make a quick trip to Prague and found Capital Apartments via Booking.com. We reserved an apartment for one night (about 90 euro) and it was very nice. It was clean, had a comfortable bed, and plenty of room for my wife and baby boy. The staff was friendly and the location secure. We stayed on Wenceslas Square....

I have stayed at Capital Apartments during New Year period with my boyfriend and another couple. Location of the apartment was extremely central, ideal if you want to walk in central Prague. Also there are restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, coffee shops and lots of shops within 0-5 min walk from the apartment. The building was a very old one with extremely...

We have stayed at the Capital Apartments on our last four visits to Prague and yet again have been extremely happy with the service and accommodation provided. The apartment we had originally booked was being refurbished, but we were provided with a two bedroom apartment just around the corner from Wenceslas Square. Michaela handled our booking and provided an excellent...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.

“Try to book 1 Bed Room Apartments and not two bed room apartments.”
of 5 bubbles monjitg, 18 May 2015 | Read review
“We initially had quite a small apartment with all beds and sofa in one room. As we have two small children we asked if they had somewhere slightly larger we could stay as we didn't want to have to sleep in the same room as our children and also wanted to stay up and be able to watch TV and relax after we had put them to bed. We were moved for two of our three night stay into a slightly larger apartment which we were very grateful for. So if you want a separate bedroom make sure you choose an apartment that has this when you make your booking.”
