Stayed here for 3 nights on a work trip. Checked in within minutes, it was fast and quick, and even accepted the kind offer of a lovely free glass of mulled wine. Stayed in room 415, which was a standard double, but was huge. Lots of room, lovely bathroom, so all great! Also, although there is a busy street right... More

We stayed at the Barceló in Old Town Prague for a weekend break. Had booked our junior suites on-line and check in was fast and efficient. My room (601) was very spacious and nicely appointed, just like the rest of the hotel. All staff were very friendly and helpful unlike what we generally experienced in Prague. The restaurant was great... More

Arrived at the reception to be greated with a smile and glass of champayne, this coupled with the lovely decor signalled a great start to our holiday. We explained we had booked a double room and was given the keys. We went up to the 1st floor room, which although very nice, was not a double bed but 2 singles... More

I stayed one night in this hotel and had two bad experiences with the staff: I asked about where to buy stamps for my postcards and then they offered me to directly purchase the stamps from them and they will pick the stamps onto the postcards later on. So I paid the stamps and gave them my postcards. In the... More

The location of this hotel is awsome. It's in the middle of old town, you can reach everything within a maximum of 10 minutes. The hotel has really nice and large rooms. For 3 nights we stayed in an deluxe junior suite, which was the only room in the 6th floor. It was really nice, but you had to watch... More

I stayed at this hotel with a group of friends for a weekend break. We couldn't believe how nice the hotel was when we arrived. The location is fantastic just along from the old town square and before you get to the powder tower. We got a free upgrade to a suite. The Living room was large and the bed... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
