Unfortunately, we did and only checked the reviews afterwards. I echo all the negative comments and clearly this place is designed to rip off unwary tourists. We have been travelling in the Czech Republic for awhile and have had nothing but positive experiences, even in Prague which is so overrun with tourists you might expect more unfortunate experiences. The location was wonderful. Although close to the main centres, it was a quiet getaway. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Our room, the attic, was spacious and beautiful. Walking up close to 60 steps was well worth the effort.

Situated in Na Kampe, just 100 yards or so from the Charles Bridge, this is a little oasis in a bustling tourist area. Rezidence Dvorak is a treat, with only 3 guest rooms, one per floor, in a quiet location only a moment from Prague Castle and Charles Bridge. We stayed 4 nights in the large loft-style apartment on the top floor which was delightful, but not suitable for tall people due to its sloping ceilings. Regarding access, there is no lift as...
