Excellent location slap-bang in the centre of Prague but down a nice quiet side street. Staff were efficient and friendly, and the room was spotless. It's a shame that they don't have any double beds (just two singles together), but we were aware of this when we booked. Breakfast was excellent, with a cold buffet and the option to get...

I stayed there two nights. Hotel has very at good location in the city center. Carpet in the room (No 43) very dirty and spotted wall. Lift was busy taking out the container with construction waste from the 5th floor. The lfit remained UNCLEANED for the whole day and night. Absolutely not four star hotel!!! Stayed at Hotel Liliova for 3 nights. Excellent location. Probably one of the best. Step outside the front door into the market and 2 minutes to Charles Bridge, one of the main attractions. Downside is that there is a strip club at the same entrance as the hotel and ironically, there is no sign to the hotel on the street,...

Whatever the faults of this hotel they could be forgiven by its location. In a quiet side street just off the commercial and tourist heart of the old town it is in the perfect spot. Even the Charles bridge is only a short walk away. The rooms themselves are fine. The free internet is not great which is why it...

This Hotel does not pretend to be anything but a good basic hotel. Pros: Great location with an ATM outside the front door. The staff are friendly. The air conditioning works well. The rooms are quiet and clean. The breakfast and service is excellent. Very good value for basic needs. Cons: If you cannot walk stairs..forget it. Even though there...

We stayed at Liliova Hotel during one week, and we were totally satisfied ! Everything was PERFECT, the staff was very helpful and friendly (they even helped us to reach a luggage the airline had lost), the room was clean and not noisy, the hotel restaurant was very good (and as hotel guests you got a 20% discount, so the...

We went to Prague for 2 days and we wanted a good-located hotel....Well, the location is really good....But this is the only positive of this hotel...Poor soundproof, dirty floors, towels full of holes,no curtains, next to a table-dance bar and really poor breakfast...Not worthy.....

I stayed here with friends recently and had none of the problems experienced by the previous reviewer. We stayed at Liliova 7 on the first floor. It has 3 bedrooms but one is pretty small as the bed fits from wall to wall. Otherwise the apartment is magnificent - lovely big lounge room, high ceilings, kitchen good (limited utensils and...

My parents and I booked this room based on other reviews. This hotel is in a great location and it was very easy to get to the sights of Prague from here. Despite the multitude of reviews praising the cleanliness, one day I given a sheet that was stained with who knows what. Almost all of towels we were given...

I stayed in Room 14 (1st floor, front) for 7 nights from 11th April 2012, with my wife. The hotel's own transfer service collected us from the airport & returned us at the end of our week's stay; it is well worth using their own, very efficient service. The hotel's location is absolutely superb for tourists; very close to the...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
