Just come back from a stag do in Prague and Mosaic House was perfect for the whole group of 12 people. Rooms were basic but comfortable with en-suite bathrooms. The bar is great with great selection of drinks, try the baseball helmet drink it is so funny. Staff are great and we all agreed it was a perfect location for... More

I would fully recommend staying at Mosaic House in Prague. Not only is it in a good location and affordable, but it is very clean and the beds are comfortable. There is also a grocery store on the street perpendicular that sells delicious and cheap pastries and rolls.

Mosaic house was perfect for my stag do. The rooms were simple - 3 bunk beds, a row of lockable cupboards (bring your own little padlock), on suite bathroom, and that's about it, but that's all we needed. The downstairs bar/relaxation area was also spot-on. The beers were cheap, the staff were friendly and spoke good English, and the food... More

Location - 10 minutes walk to main shopping area but this is perfect for me as I didn' want to be in the middle! Atmosphere - I would recommend asking to be placed in the main building, not the 'mingle hostel' section of the hostel. This is across the road and does have a small kitchen area for communal activities,... More

The breakfast is very good! And the rooms are very confortable and clean. They have an amazing free tour of the city. They are close to the city center and the staff is very kind and can tell you abut what parts you should visit. The only negative thing is the noise at night because of the La Loca bar.

Was a great weekend in Prague and the hotel was great too, secure and clean, really good rooms and facilities. The breakfast was warm and with good flavor. The service was the best, always with smile and in good disposition to help.

This was a pure joy to stay over our few nights, modern but very comfy, clean, quiet, sophisticated. Every section of this place, brought smiles to our faces. Really clever way of using the space. We actually extended our visit in Prague just because of this House. Well done!

Everything at the Hostel was first class, The staff, the facility, the food, the drinks. I love how they really pay close attention to details. I'm sold, when I come visit Prague. Safe your money and come stay here, you won't be disappointed. Joseph Z. San Fransico, Ca.

I'm currently on a semester abroad, and Mosaic was by far the best hostel I've stayed at. A big highlight is the Wifi network working throughout the whole building, as well as being pretty speedy. The building is very nice, modern and clean. There is a restaurant/music lounge/bar on the ground floor with a nicely diverse menu; hostel guests also... More

I stayed at Mosaic House for 3 days and it was a very pleasant stay! Positive vibes were all over the place, from the entrance, to the bar, to the art, to the rooms. It was in a good location, only about a 10 minutes walk to Old Town Center, which was perfect because that area can be very crowded.... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
