Moods is a very modern hotel, the best of 'no frills'. On arrival we were seated to check in at reception and were greeted with complementary drinks. The decor throughout is contemporary and minimalist but of excellent quality. Our twin room was spacious as was our slate-tiled bathroom, all facilities were available in our room with every type of socket... More

This small modern boutique hotel is excellent in both value for money and location. The staff are so friendly and couldn't be more helpful. It says continental breakfast but there is cooked available and plenty of it. Thank you for adding to a great city break.

This stylish hotel is situated a 10 minute walk from the old town square (Staroměstské náměstí) in a quiet street. 5 minutes next to the hotel is a big shopping centre the "Palladium" but there is also a mini-market 100m next to the hotel. The staff was very friendly and I also got some infomaterial at the check-in, what to... More

Great choice for a hotel in Prague. Convenient walking distance from city center. Small rooms but very cozy. Highly recommended. 10 minute walk to city center, 25 minute walk to Charles Bridge, 45 minute walk to the Prague Castle.

Perfect hotel for a weekend break in Prague. Nice, quiet location but walking distance to everything. The room was very modern and clean with really comfortable large beds. Bathroom was also perfect. Staff we encountered were all very friendly and so helpful. It was really nice also having breakfast included with a nice selection of foods to choose from. Would... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights but I would not recommend staying longer. The standard room is quite small and the hotel design is too simple for my taste. Although I must confirm that the quality of the room is OK, it is clean, new and has everything you need. Also it has a trendy blue colour light... More

I stayed here for one night on business. Somewhat spartan in décor which is fine depending on your taste, staff are very helpful. Internet access not fantastic, very nice breakfast. Not really a hotel to hang around in but a great option to see Prague

Friendly and helpful staff and great service. Rooms were clean and modern, breakfast was good. The hotel had a great location - a short walk to most attractions. Some rooms were rather small, but not a problem for any of us - and 2 of the rooms were rather large. we highly recommend the hotel (wifi rather slow --- that's... More

Arrived early and were welcomed with a cocktail and a warm greeting. The staff made sure our room was ready as quickly as possible and gave us lots of tips while we waited for places to eat for lunch. Room was nice. Bed very comfortable and bathroom modern. Only criticisms were that our room was very dark and a little... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.

“Rooms on the street may have a bit of ambient noise but they do offer views of the river”
  • One night we saw fireworks from the room
  • The faucet is in the wrong spot, the glass shield is too small, the tub is too narrow
  • The ridiculously narrow area to stand in the shower with the jutting faucet.
  • Hastens bed. Bed was hard but I slept like a lamb.
  • View from the room towards the river
