The staff were all extremely warm and welcoming from start to finish during our two-night stay here. The location is great for exploring west of the Vltava River, and only a 10 minute walk away from the east side as well. ----- Ambience: I selected this hotel for a change of scene from the usual modern clean cut designs. This...

There is nothing that can be added to the experience, the staff are highly trained and extremely effective. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the beds comfortable, the location great. That's the practical stuff. The things that make this hotel (suites) so wonderful, the welcome, the breakfasts, the decor, the complimentary wine and cheese at 5pm every evening and the pianist...

An absolutely fantastic stay! Very cozy rooms, excellent staff, room service is wonderful and the breakfast is delicious. Staff is very helpful and friendly. We got a room on the top floor with a terrace overlooking the old city and with a private elevator, that connects to you room, amazing! Would definitely return. Too bad they don't have a restaurant...

I might be a bit of a snob, but I thought the appointments in the hotel let it down. It's a listed building, so they were obviously constrained when it came to the renovation. Having said that, I didn't like all the faux rococo and the questionable art. Obviously some people do and that's cool, but if you are a...

Excellent staff, couldn't be more helpful and attentive. Great location in a quiet neighborhood but a short walk to the Charles Bridge, Castle, etc. but the people really make it special. Very well maintained and would return there in a minute!

We have just spent a fabulous week at this hotel, and it is among the best hotels we have ever stayed in. There are only eight rooms, so it feels almost like being in a private villa. The staff are amazing: so friendly and always happy to help. We did not use transportation at all during the week we were...

Beautiful, intimate hotel. Only 7 rooms. Attentive staff. Wine and cheese every evening with a piano player on Friday. Perfect location, in walking distance of everything. Breakfast in the mornings with the group or ask to have set up in your room.

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighbourhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
