We returned yesterday from beautiful Prague. This hotel is beyond words, it's so lovely. We stayed in a suite of rooms, so beautiful. Have to agree sadly with the previous post about the cleanliness, it was perfect until the last night, got into bed and the sheets had tea (coffee) stains, and we don't drink tea/coffee!!! All other days were... More

We were excited to stay at CBP because we were able to book a river view room close to the Charles Bridge for only about $140 a night. Seemed to good to be true, and indeed it was. The river view rooms are right on a very busy street with all kinds of traffic, including loud trams that run all... More

Had a long weekend break in prague and stayed at the Charles Bridge Palace for 3 nights. The hotel was clean, staff welcoming and happy to help with any enquiries. Breakfast had something for everyone and plentiful. Only minor negative was stated opening hours of the bar....never adhered to in fact was never open. All in all good hotel in... More

This hotel was perfect for my too short stay in Prague. It was only 3 minutes walk to the Charles Bridge and 8 minutes to the Old Town Plaza. While our top floor accommodations did not have any view I'm sure most of the rooms did. They had 2 elevators for very efficient use, a computer in the lobby with... More

This hotel appealed to us due to its central location, interior (from photos) and price. There were many positive sides of the hotel, but also negative ones. It is centrally located, very close to Charles Bridge and pedestrian zone and Old Town. Not easy to be found on your own if you are coming by car. Small square in front... More

Booked twin room got a two bedroom room which was great. Advised to get quite room which we got to a certain degree. Location is perfect just 2 mins from Charles Bridge, it's also located across the road from a nightclub and beside one maybe two strip clubs - while these didn't bother us or should bother you the nightclub... My partner booked this Hotel for my 50th Birthday treat and had paid extra for the 'deluxe' room. Although the room itself was 'nice 'enough, the lay out was a bit odd. It had a wardrobe and toilet/shower room downstairs with a large TV which we couldn't get reception. Upstairs was the bedroom with another bigger shower room/toilet. The hotel... More

This was by far the most beautiful hotel we stayed in during our trip. We had a 2 story room with a bedroom and bathroom upstairs, living room with fridge, wardrobe, and dining table downstairs as well as another bathroom. Everything was quite ornate and luxurious. There were skylights in every room with the living room skylight overlooking the nearby... More

We stayed in a 4 person suite and it was such a beautiful room. There was a sitting room downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs. For the price we paid I was not expecting the room to be so lovely. The location is fantastic. Right in the city facing the bridge and the river. The staff are so helpful and kind... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
