My family and I finally made it to Prague for a multi-city EMEA tour in 2013. The Marriott Prague was simply spectacular in all aspects. The staff from the door to the front desk was great and well versed in working with foreigners. Our rooms were well appointed and quiet. The restaurant - the bar one anyway - offered exactly...

This is not a cookie cutter chain hotel...off the main drag on the "other side" of the Charles River...the walk over the bridge is well worth it. The hotel is in an old monastery and is full of charm. Classiest Prague hotel in my opinion...the entrance is removed from the street so it is a bit of a quiet oasis...

Dear ChavieK, Thank you for your lovely comments regarding your recent stay in Prague. I have noted your comments regarding the hotel and whilst I would love them to reflect our hotel I have the impression that they are in fact reflective of one of my competitors on the other side of the river. However should you ever travel this...

My husband and I stayed at this hotel after a cruise on the Danube. We are familiar with Marriott hotels as we stay regularly at them. This one was no exception for quality service. The room was wonderful even though we overlooked a court yard. We had so many things to see and do in Prague this was not a...

Dear Patricia H, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback following your recent stay with us. It is always very helpful to hear directly from our guests about their experience and I was delighted that you rated the rooms as clean & comfortable and the breakfast food as excellent. However, I was most concerned to read of...

Great hotel in center of Prague, just across from Hilton. Easy to get there from airport on CESKA Bus at 150 krona pp. Excellent staff and breakfast. It does get busy as this is the starting point for many Danube River cruise tours. Great value for Marriott points members as I am.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel prior to going on a Scenic Waterways river cruise. The hotel shares the common good quality that I find in most if not all Marriotts. The location is great: it is very near the Old City Square. Our room was well kept up, very roomy and for me the must have, god...

The Prague Marriott Hotel is a nice hotel with an excellent location. Out the door and three or four blocks and you are in the heart of things, but enough out of the center that it is a peaceful location. Nice breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

Recently spent 3 nights at this hotel. Comfortable room and bed, quiet, and nice amenities. It was a short walk from the train station and when we left the shuttle to the airport departed from across the street. It was an easy walk to all the sights of the city so we were able to go back to the hotel...

The latest in what seems to be a never ending negative critique of Marriott properties. The hotel is in the old town, very close to Town Square and Charles Bridge. Very good inexpensive restaurants nearby as well as a convenience store. Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
