Room was very well appointed & front of house staff friendly & helpful with any inquiries. Also very well located to walk to the old town area & explore the history &...

We stayed at the Marriott for 4 nights as part of a Scenic tour. The location of the hotel is great, the room was quite large and in excellent condition and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We arrived at 1030 after our flight from Singapore and were advised that our room would not be ready until after...

We were two women travelling together, and could not have been more pleased with this hotel. It is an easy walk to major attractions in the Old Town as well as to good shopping and an outdoor market. Our standard room was adequate, clean and quiet, and the bathroom standard fare ( but no over- tub clothes line for those...

The quality of accommodation is in line with the high standards generally associated with this worldwide chain. The beds are particularly comfortable. The food offering whilst attending a recent conference were superb and of the highest quality. Whether you are travelling on business...

Had a great experience at the Prague Marriott. The location is perfect. Not only is it convenient to the key landmarks but the low cost airport shuttle stops right across the street. A metro stop is one block away. The service is excellent, especially in the executive lounge where the food and beverages are also top notch. The rooms are...

The Prague Marriott is only a few minutes walk away from Old Town Square and Charles Bridge. There is also a supermarket "Billa" adjacent to the hotel. We had a car and there is a parking garage attached to the hotel which was very convenient. The lounge offered hot items at breakfast and also during cocktail hour. Overall, the service...

Loved the location of this hotel. Very good breakfast, housekeeping and room amenities.BUT after travelling for a month and enjoying very good wi-fi in a range of cheaper accommodation choices it was a shock to be charged $26 NZ dollars a day for inferior internet access in our room. Free wi-fi is available in the lobby, but that is not...

We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful, large room, very clean and well-decorated. It is only a few minutes away from an open air market and several restaurants. 5-7 minute walk and you are in Old Town. You can walk anywhere tourists go if you wish. The longest walk is about 40 minutes to the castle. I would not hesitate...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
