We extended our Danube River cruise with Viking with a 4 day, 3 night stay in Prague. We had a very pleasant experience at the Prague Marriott Hotel. Check-in was painless and we received a quiet room on the 4th floor facing the courtyard. The hotel was centrally located only 10 minutes to Old Town. The room was large compared...

Centrally located, very friendly and helpful staff. The executive lounge was great, serving breakfast, appetizers and refreshments all day. I highly recommend the Marriott!! The gym has exercise classes which you have to sign up in advance which were very good!

We stayed here as part of a package deal, so I didn't have any choice in where to stay. I'd likely have never picked a Marriott as I like to stay in more local places when I travel. The hotel is fine. It's a Marriott so it's as nice as you'd expect it to be. The rooms are big but...

The Marriott is in a perfect location in Prague. It's considered "Old Town" and walking distance to all the historic and fabulous parts of Prague! The hotel is clean, rooms large, and service excellent. We had a package that included breakfast. The breakfast buffet was excellent with many choices which include a chef who will make any type of eggs...

The location of this hotel is great--right next to Old Prague. The hotel is modern and very nice. But it is in the business of nickel & diming you to death. It has a great WiFi signal throughout the hotel, but it is not free for the guests. It has free internet in its lobby, but it charges for internet...

We traveled from Budapest to Prague on the SavorTauck river boat cruise. This was the end of the cruise. They treated us with water and orange juice as we got off our buses. It was a wonderful end to an amazing trip. The breakfasts were wonderful and although we were out and about, the rooms were very comfortable and relaxing...

Stayed four nights and for us this was the perfect choice for our first visit to Prague. Check-In was fast (room was ready early) friendly and professional. This hotel is at a walking distance from the main plaza and a little further from the Charles Bridge. Public transportation is good, I recommend to buy tickets for full days, will be cheaper tan buying them per trip.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
