Just returned from Hotel after staying for four nights. On arriving one of the reception staff was rather surly in his attitude on checking us into the hotel, however, the rest of the staff were professional and some were friendly. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. There is a free fridge and safe in the rooms. The...

Ten minute walk to oldtown, there are so many restaurants and shops nearby and alot of tours will leave from the main street which is less then a 10 minute walk...

The room was spotless, the beds were very comfortable with crisp white linen, the location excellent for the old town and new town and there was plenty of choice for breakfasts with a range of hot and cold foods and a lovely selection of breads. We had no issues and a very nice stay in Prague.

The location of the Central hotel is excellent - about 10 minutes walk from Republic Square and 10 minutes walk from the Old Town square. Republic Square is a transportation hub, with a metro line towards the airport, and several direct tram lines to the central train station. The neighborhood is quiet and seems to be safe, with some shops...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
