Stayed with family at this hotel for 3 nights. Had a lovely large triple room with tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge. Beds were very comfy. Good variety of food at breakfast and the selection of breads were great, but the cooked breakfast was not to my particular taste. Near to metro and trams. Would have no hesitation in staying...

The hotel was lovely and exceeded our expectations. Everyone was just wonderful -- rooms were clean, close to transportation. Breakfast was great. I loved the way they cooked the eggs, and the restaurant staff were lovely.

We spent 6 nights in this very comfortable, clean and bequem hotel with my friend. The hotel situated 15 minutes walk from the Vaclavske namestí - the centrum. The first surprise was the small "coffee and tea bar" in our room - it is used to be only in 5stars hotels! The second surprise was the excellent buffet breakfast in a...

I was booked in to this hotel on what was my 4th business trip to Prague in last 18 months and unfortunately my experience is not good. I hate criticizing anybody in business, as times are tough, but this hotel needs to try harder. When I arrived at the rather dreary reception to check in the staff advised me that...

As an active retired couple we were able to enjoy the sights of Prague from this nicely situated hotel on the edge of the city center. The rooms were well laid out and furnished sensibly. As we both enjoy working from our laptops (keeping up with family and friends) we particularly enjoyed the desk layout that accommodated two users. The...

My parents recently stayed at this hotel for my Mum's 60th birthday. I contacted the hotel to have some flowers and a bottle of champagne in the room on the actual day. My mum went for a stroll that morning arrived back at the room to a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a chilled bottle of bubbly with some stylish...

While sightseeing with my wife and cousin’s family; we stayed at the Hotel Moran for several nights. Upon arrival, check-in was quickly completed and we were advised of in-door parking just down the street at about 5 Euro’s per day. We took care of luggage and put the car away for the rest of our stay. My cousin felt that...

My wife and I stayed for five nights and was disappointed. The staff on the front desk spent more time outside the hotel smoking or talking on their mobile phones, they were cautious but not friendly. It might be a European thing, but having booked a double bed and getting two singles pushed together is inherantly wrong I like to...

Staff were pleasant and helpful. Facilities basic and adequate. Quite a long walk from the old town, but very close to Karlovo Namesti metro station. Breakfast was very sufficient but the offerings never changed.

No security box in the room, no frigobar, no variety of breakfast, no friendly staff. Only good location. We have made a reservation on Booking.com at nearly 80 euros, and it was cancelled at 12 pm. Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
