Centrally located in old town the charming hotel has lovely staff, excellent facilities and great breakfast. Lots of options of things to do and tours booked and just added to hotel bill . Provided great limo for airport transfer.

Overall this hotel is very good. Room decent size, big bathroom, very comfortable bed and good buffet breakfast. The hotel is only a few minutes work to old town square so very convenient. Because the hotel is located in a heavy tourist area, the restaurants close to the hotel are relatively expensive compare to other areas. The only downside is...

I booked the executive room with terrace for three nights and it was money well spent. Situated on the 7th floor, room 711 gave us a fantastic view of Old Town and a rather large terrace with a table and chairs, not too great in winter but I'm sure would be great in the summer. I contacted the team in...

Great hotel in Prague that has a great 1920's Bohemian feel to it. Good price compared to other European city hotels. Bath robes, complimentary umbrella in the room, scales and everything else you could imagine. Reception, restaurant and bar staff were very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was stunning with lots of choice. Will definitely go back.

FIrst of all the location of this hotel is perfect. At the centre of everything and easy walking to the heart of all you want to see in Prague. Rooms are nice and big, well maintained, modern. Front desk staff are quite helpful but if you need a cab to the airport google airport transfer taxis first. The set fee...

I stayed there between 19th and 22nd. of December. The hotel is pretty close to Old Town square and the other appealing places. The physical condition of the room (deluxe) and the other facilities were quite ok. There were too many amenities in the room which you probably would not even use, but it shows the attention of the hotel...

Stayed here for 4 nights in December. Location out of hotel turn left 2 minutes from Old Town Square, turn right 2 minutes to main shopping area. All this but in quiet location. Rooms very clean, nice touch if chocolate on pillow each day, bathroom has all you need with hot powerful shower. Comfortable bed. Ballroom is amazing. Breakfast fantastic...

My wife and I went with some friends for the Christmas Market. The hotel is right in the heart of the action. We were only a few minutes walk away. We arrived to check in. The staff greeted us with a friendly welcome and were checked in within minutes. They provided us with a maps and activities packet making sure...

Hubby and I have been lucky to visit Prague many times but this was our 1st stay at The Grand Hotel. And grand it was. Fabulous lobby and very friendly staff who checked us in. Room was a great size and spotless. Little chocolates left on our pillows every day. Breakfast? Fantastic. The staff were so polite and helpful. Hot...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
