This hotel is truly amazing. The staff was always very helpful, the room was big and comfortable, great breakfast, great location. The tea corner is a nice touch, and also the afternoon snacks at the hotel reception. I would love to stay there again and recommend it gladly.

This hotel was a really good choice for our three day stay in Prague. The rooms are nice and clean, breakfast absolutely wonderful having plenty different choices and to top it all, the staff is really helpful and polite. Must have been the best hotel I have stayed in!

One of the most pleasant hotels I have ever stayed in. This hotel is in a peaceful backstreet with characterful bars and restaurants close by and is within easy walking of the Old Town sights, including the main square and the Charles Bridge. Our room was large, with tea and coffee making facilities, DVD player, comfy beds, plenty of toiletries... More

Large clean rooms, beautiful interior and free breakfast. The staff is attentive and helpful. Easy walk to river, Old Town, Wenceslas Square and close to tram and metro stops. Many restaurants and bars nearby. Highly recommended!

This lovely hotel is well-located--close to Old Town--but also on a quiet street. It's a former convent, so that gives you an idea of the vibe--very serene. Rooms are large and nice, bathrooms have all the extras--blow dryer, large sink with counter space, etc. Would totally stay here again.

Hotel is in a perfect position to explore Prague. Only a short 10 min walk to the Old Town Square and Charles Bridge. We arrived at 23.45 to a friendly, warm greeting and a glass of bubbly. Our room was lovely and clean with comfortable bed and equipped with everything, TV, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers and toiletries. The tea and coffee... More

Very central hotel, off the main road so nice and quiet. May have something to do with the fact that the police station is next door. Was once part of the Secret Police building and they still have some of the cells in the basement. The first president Vaclev Havel was imprisoned here and if you ask, the staff are... More

My wife and I stayed here last week, after spending our first few nights at a typical business hotel near the convention center. When the conference was ended, we moved. We found the Unitas through Tripadvisor and the five star rating it gets is well-earned. The building looks bland from the outside, blending in with the utilitarian police buildings around... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
