My partner and I stayed at the Unitas Hotel for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. We cannot fault it. It is a short taxi ride from the airport (about 25 minutes), and within walking distance of the main attractions (Old Town Square, Charles Bridge, Prague Castle etc.). When we arrived we were greeted with a smile and a welcome...

I loved everything about this hotel. They were extremely nice and helpful, very clean, beautiful site. I would stay here over and over again. Definitely worth the price. Breakfast was delicious and the location was more than perfect. Very safe with the police station right across the street! This has probably been the most welcoming hotel I have ever stayed...

We revisited The Unitas for Christmas and new year 2012 for our delayed 1st wedding anniversary and were not disappointed (other than by the lack of snow which the Unitas has no control over!). Katka, one of the receptionists, recognised us from our wedding stay in 2011 and gave us a lovely smile and welcome back. We had the honeymoon...

Stayed here for three nights in September 2011. Loved, loved, loved the hotel. The location was perfect (very quiet street within walking distance of all the attractions), very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, lovely rooms (high ceilings, sitting area, comfortable bed), and very good price. If I ever return to Prague, this is where I'd stay again.

This was our second time staying at the Unitas. We love it! It’s the kind of hotel where things are done properly and with attention to detail. Everywhere is extremely comfortable, breakfasts are great and the staff always courteous and charming. Easy to reach by public transport from the airport (bus to DEJVICKA and then the metro, you only need...

Stayed at The Unitas awhile ago & have just realised I didnt write a review...oops! On arrival we were a bit concerned about the Police Headquarters opposite...but in 4 nights there we never heard a sound. We really enjoyed coming back to the hotel at night after walking for miles and miles around Prague. The room was spacious & bathroom...

I would highly recommend this hotel in Prague for its location on a quiet side street just a few blocks from the crazy touristic areas of the historic center of town. Our room, which was facing the front of the building was spacious with high ceilings and a comfortable sitting area, dressing area and large modern bath. The room and...

This is a beautifully renovated hotel with an exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are big, quiet and well stocked with minibar, coffee/tea, safe, big bathroom etc. Very comfortable bed. Wifi is fast, no problem to use Skype/Viber. Upon arrival, we were offered a complimentary glass of local sparkling wine - always a winner. Localization is around 10 min walk...

I stayed at the Unitas Hotel for 4 nights in May 2012. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are funrnished in a slightly older style but are quiet, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast buffet is superb. The hotel is in easy walking distance to many of the sights and close to busses and the underground for the...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
