With views of the empty Charles Bridge in the mornings, the location of this hotel can't be beat. We stayed in a suite, with lovely painted ceilings and a large bathroom. A large breakfast buffet, with typical Czech breakfast food, was included in the room...More

shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
No aircon in the room we had either. We went in May and the temperature was fine but could probably be noisy if you are on the Bridge side and the windows were opened

I checked in at noon. Earlier would surely be a problem as often full ( same anyway for almost all other hotels ).
the great advantage of this hotel its unique location, RIGHT AT FOOT of the Karl's bridge, allowing you to take great pictures early morning before crowds of tourists storm in.
