We visited Prague with a couple of friends and stopped at Andante hotel without any expectations. If you are looking for a nice quiet clean place to stay- this is great. Very close to the center as well. If you are looking for special food and meals or for a fancy rooms, this hotel is not the answer for you....

Dear Liza, Thank you very much for your nice words. We will be happy to welcome you any other time and recommend a good restaurant nearby, or you might like our homemade strudel and cakes as a special part of breakfast, as well as a very good espresso on request at the lobby. Hopefully see you soon in the Andante...

We had a good stay! From check-in to check-out, it all went smooth. The hotel had friendly & helpful staff. Our rooms were clean & cozy. The hotel was easily accessible, near to both the station & shopping areas. It was also situated close to most of the attractions especially the Wenceslas Square. I would stay again anytime and would...

I stayed for 6 nights. Room 44, on 4th floor suite with nice balcony. Comfortable bed, good couch on which I napped, a table and small desk. All quite functional. The bath/shower delivered ample hot water, quickly. WC on opposite side of wall/suite from bathroom (which was fine once I got used to it). Location is fine. Short walk to...

We have just come back from a lovely mini break to Prague. The hotel was perfect location for exploring the city. The hotel was a little dated...I was expecting a power shower, but it was like going back in time....although it was very effecient. The staff were VERY friendly and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. It was hot in the room,...

This hotel is a short walk from the Museum Metro station / Wenceslass Square. It is clean, comfortable and serves a decent continental breakfast with a fried eggs, bacon and sausage. I would have given it 5 stars if it had a kettle in the room, but it does have tea/coffee making facilities in the reception area. It is less...

The location of the hotel is very close to the monuments and the city centre, however it is found in a street which contains 2 cabaret lounges (so the street is filled with prostitutes and drunk people), however it is close to the metro station (5 mins walk). The staff are friendly but the room was very noisy.

I was awakened by cigarette smoke at 4 am and had to close the windows. When I asked the woman at the desk if we were in the smoking section, she said no. However, the hallway and my bathroom reeked of it. The quality of the breakfast was ok with many items running out. It needs serious updating. We stayed...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
