We visit Prague every year for a city break, Hotel Ariston & Patio we stay in every time. The hotel is divided into two and we stay on The Patio side which has large baths and large double bedrooms. Every time we stay the hotel is very clean, the bedding is fresh and the breakfast is a good start to...

I just got back from Prague and stayed at this hotel. The rooms were nice and were similar to what one one find at a Mariott Courtyard. There is no bar or restraunt other than the breakfast room. I only paid 50 USD per night. So that being said I cant complain. Just do not come here thinking you are...

Ok - so you have to take the tram one station to this hotel from the main station but from there it is literally a 5 min walk to the hotel. We have been coming here for 8 years now and for the price we pay - it is lovely! Breakfast has improved trmendously which is great as well. Maybe...

It was our first time in Prague, but not last. The room was splendid - clean and very large. It is really like a queen's residence - with large and functional bathroom. The dishes at beakfast varied. Everything was very fresh. The wi-fi also was good. The hotel is situated in a calm place, but in less than 5 minuites...

The Ariston Hotel in Prague was spotless throughout and the staff was outstanding. It is an easy tram ride (3 stops - less than 5 minutes) to the main square with only a short walk to the city center. Only drawback was the lack of air conditioning which can be a problem in August. That said it was a great...

Stayed here for 5 nights as a base for exploring the country by train as well as Prague itself. The hotel is situated a 15 minute walk from the city centre, a reasonable walk by day but the area is slightly tacky. I'd recommend getting the tram to the stop just down the road and walking the short distance to...

Considering the price and the star rating I was expecting more. Location is good, but hotel is old and somewhat crumbling.

I stayed 4 days in Prague and liked the Ariston Hotel very much. The staff at the reception is very friendly and willing to help wherever they can, they speek a lot of languages too :-)) the first 3 nights I spent in a 3 star room, which was very quiet, beds where good too. The last night was in...

We booked with a travel agency as we did not know anything about our destinations of Budapest, Vienna and Prague. Our first two hotels were amazing and then we got to Prague and were greeted by the dark, dank stiffling lobby of the Hotel Ariston. We arrived in late afternoon and thought that we were certainly in the wrong place....

Management response:

Dear client, Thank you for your review. We consider unfair to compare stay in hotel which charges 240-300EUR per room, like the one in which you have stayed in Vienna, with stay athotel that charges 60-70 EUR per room. Hotel Ariston is very popular tourist hotel, well equipped for short term stays, and located in center of the town, which...

The location was good, very close to a tram stop and about 20 minutes walk from the city center. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. The negatives were the actual room and amenities. The room was stuffy with no air conditioning and the bed was saggy and uncomfortable. There was an extra charge...

Management response:

Dear client, Thank you for your review. We can assure you that the usual weather in Prague, during the beginning of May, is very suitable for stay. Unfortunately this May was whole Czech Republic affected by extreme temperatures, which made the stay inconvenient for all Prague visitors. Best regards, Hotel Management

“Double rooms should not have twin beds put together but one double bed. There should be a general light in the room, not only small lamps next to the beds. We paid a lot for a poor room where it was cold also.”
