We have just returned and although the hotel was ok it was nothing special . Our room was a little noisy as the church chimes every 15 minutes and there is a lot of road noise. There is no air con so the room was hot and stuffy at night as you couldn't open windows because of the noise. Hotel...

I only stayed there one night. It is clean and the staff are polite. The doorman looks like an older Jason Bateman. The breakfast is pretty standard. I would say it is more of 2 to 3 star, but location is great.

My partner stayed here in May for a stag weekend. Location was excellent, hotel staff 1st class. The facilities not so good, no tea/coffee making in room. Great place for couples but not for stag parties

If this is a 4* hotel I would hate to stay at anything less! 'Buffet breakfast' was poor and everything out of packets - only fruit was somewhat fresh. Rooms very noisy and chairs stained, bathroom functional but cracked tiles and towels were like dish cloths. Some of the staff were very friendly, others not. Thankfully the sights of Prague...

Lovely hotel. Staff are very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was your average continental type, but was lovely. Nice clean rooms and bathroom. Only downfall could do with a residents bar to chill out in, instead of the lobby. Would definitely stay again

Stayed here recently for 4 nights. Reception/Door staff friendly and helpful. Ideal location , most places can be reached on foot and lots of restaurants very close by. Our room was clean and spacious. Not the most luxurious but perfectly adequate. Breakfasts were fine, bit of a random selection ( soup/salad) but plenty of choice. As others have said, church...

The location in the center of Prague and excellent breakfasts are main advantages of this hotel. The rooms are basic. Cleaning of the rooms was daily. All arising questions quickly resolved at reception.

Very good location, near the centre and with several restaurante close to it. The breakfast is not so good, poor variety and tinny space. WiFi works good, and the beds are ok but the pillows are not confortable. General experience is ok,

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
