We stayed in the Hilton Prague for a 4 day city trip. We choose to book an executive room. The location of the hotel is quite close to the old town of prague, you can walk within 15 minutes or take the subway, located right in front of the hotel and its 2 stops to the old town. The check...

This is a beautiful hotel with an impressive lobby. (At night it lights up the inside of the lobby green.) It has a great indoor pool and outdoor area by the pool. The room was very comfortable. Our room looked over the river. The hotel is not in the old town area and you may need to take a taxi...

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the hotel and it's staff were great. We had booked an exec room and were really pleased with all the amenities that were offered. Our check in and check out was dealt by Patricia - very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The exec lounge was great. The hotel location was also...

We stayed in the Hilton Prague for 3 nights early Sept. We didn't have much time to plan this trip and so just went with a reliable brand as have stayed in Hiltons before and found them ok. While the hotel is nice in lots of ways we felt there were a number of drawbacks also which was why I...

Hotel was extremely nice but as a tourist I found the location nowhere near the castle, Charles bridge, or the old town. You are constantly warned not to get a taxi on the street so hotel location is important. Most attractions are at least a 30 minute hike. The better restaurants are located away from the hotel. The lobby was...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
