The hotel is a few steps away from Wenceslas Square, 100m from the nearest Metro station (Muzeum), but within easy walking distance of the Old Town as well. Comfortable rooms and great breakfast buffet. Friendly and helpful staff everywhere. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but plenty of choice both around the corner and in the Old Town. Free...

Stayed for just one night but long enough to appreciate the place. Asked for and received a quiet room. Good size room with free wifi and business centre. No time to use gym etc. excellent breakfast choice, friendly and helpful staff. I did not find the clubs etc a problem that other reviewers did. Location just off Wenceslas square.

The K+K Hotel Fenix is an incredibly wonderful hotel. We enjoyed our three night stay there very much. The hotel was everything we had hoped for and more. The staff is great. Our questions and requests were handled professionally and in a very friendly manner. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The breakfast every morning was wonderful. The food...

The hotel is in a great location 100 yards from Wenceslas Square up a side street. We are three mature ladies and the fact we had to pass some dubious looking clubs did not both use in the slightest. We had a large clean spacious room (ample room for the three of us) at the front of the hotel. We...

My friend recommended this hotel because of it being in a central location in Prague. However, it was immediately next door to Darlings stripper club (where I guess they do even more than that) and across the street from a competing stripper club. If that is why you are in Prague, then this is the place for you, but I...

Dear guest Thank you for your feedback to your recent stay in our hotel, all above for your positive comments to the provided service. However your experiences were unfortunately influenced by the negative side of our very central location in Prague. You are right, there is unfortunately a night club in the neighbourhood of our hotel. We are very intensively...

Great hotel in a good location (except for the Clubs), but it didn't matter to us at all. We were on the first floor and there was no noise at all.The room was big and comfy. The whole hotel was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel organised a pick up and drop off service to and...

Great hotel, only about 100 walk to Wenceslas Square. Yes it has 'dancing clubs' next door and across the road but we had no hassle at all. Room was spotless. We were at the back of the hotel on the 4th floor and heard no noise whatsoever at night or at any other time. All staff were very helpful and...

We just returned from our European vacation and this is where we stayed when we visited Prague. The staff here are friendly, the rooms are very nice, and the breakfast is good. Old Town Square and everywhere else you want to be is just a short walk down the street. Ignore any mention of the drug dealers and strip clubs....

Dear guest We very much appreciate your truly and very pregnant comments to the situation with our neighbours caused by our central location. Thank you, we are very pleased to hear about your positive experience with the atmosphere in the hotel!

I went for an executive room, they gave me a first floor room, no light, facing the terrace where the flags are, very noisy. The hotel is surronded with 3 big "clubs", and at night it gets busy, and noisy. The room is poorly furnished, not for a 4* hotel, the bathroom is not well equiped and i found it...

We stayed there for three days last year. The hotel was nice. The staff was really helpful for first-time visitors. The rooms were comfortable. But the hotel, even though near St Wencelad Square, was in a only ok neighborhood - strip joint across the street and nightclub next door.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
