The location of the hotel is perfect. Only a few minutes walk from the hustle & bustle of Charles Bridge yet the little square in which the hotel is situated is very quiet. We booked as a couple requesting separate rooms but we were placed in two completely different areas of the hotel. There are rooms in a courtyard outside...

This is a splendid hotel for a city trip. It is close to the Metro (to/from the airport), and close to the city highlights. The personnel is very friendly, the rooms are fine and the breakfast is good.

Great location close to St.Vitus, Charles bridge etc. We stayed in a deluxe familyroom, which in fact was a big apartement. Old style, very nice and cozy. Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff. Many great restaurants very close to the hotel.

Had a great 3 day stay at this hotel. Rooms clean, beds comfy and breakfast was good, great variety for everyone. The hotel has plenty of character to match the old style building which I thought was great. Location is excellent, 10 min walk to castle, 10 min walk to Charles Bridge, tram 5 min walk. My forth visit to...

Comfortable beds, nice and warm, good breakfast. Woken up both mornings a little early and poor coffee facilities for breakfast; Inadequate tea in room but it was in a fabulous area and the beds were great. Clean and large room. Nice selection for breakfast with fizz thrown in! Good value for money. Friendly staff .

I can't think of any hotel where the reception is so welcoming. Guests are handed a glass of prosecco, and during my entire stay the staff were extremely helpful. (They even put a bottle of prosecco in my room as they noticed it was my birthday!) This hotel is perhaps not the most modern or luxurious, and rooms aren't very...

What a beautiful reception upon arrival with clear instructionf from Marie the receptionist who was so helpful. Free maps and no trouble advising on transport, places to go etc. Also gave us the deluxe suite as an added bonus! You will not regret staying here. Breakfast was typical continental or bacon , egg and sausage with beans. would definately recommend...

We spent a week here in January/February. We were made very welcome on our arrival and the suite was comfortable. The staff were very professional and made us feel as if nothing was too much trouble; we were particularly grateful to Natalia who help us with a minor problem. Alenea was very professional and friendly in her dealings with us;...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
