Clean and friendly very helpful staff.A nice range of options for breakfast and not overpriced mini bar in room. A shame they started resurfacing the road outside at 7:30 in the morning but not the hotels fault

The price was awesome for then, when we arrived was better than expected, the hotel has a really good location not exactly the most popular location, but really close for there, the appearance of the hotel is really Prague, very nice. At the check in the lady from the hotel was really nice, she told us about the places to...

We love the Christmas scene in Prague and have found the Praga1 to be very well situated to access the markets as well as exploring further afield and trying to 'get' the more traditional Czech feel of Prague. The hotel is clean warm and welcoming with a very helpful front desk who will go out of their way to provide...

My Fiance and I enjoyed our recent stay. The hotel was clean. Not luxurious but more than met our needs as we were only sleeping there. Good quality toiletries supplied. Mini bar in room. Very comfortable bed. I loved the breakfast selection each morning, slightly different hot foods each of our 3 mornings and then a full continental selection each...

I highly recommend!! The staff is very helpful (Josef is very nice, always glad to recommend places to visit and restaurants to eat in) The last day he even printed our flight details and suggested we come rest in the hotel lobby before our flight (which was late night). The breakfast is very nice (eggs, sausages vegetables, cheese, jams, cakes...

Good service, very helpful staff. Clean, big room. Almost no sound from outside or the other rooms. The only negative thing is the smell in the reception. Very central. Nice restaurants and stores just around the corner.

My husband booked a surprise trip to Prague for my 65th birthday and was recommended this hotel by the travel agent. The information and photos looked good, as was the 4* rating, however it would be a stretch to call this a four star hotel. It's very basic with Spartan rooms and public areas - in fact the Lobby Bar...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
