The Pod Vezi Hotel is a first-class quality boutique hotel in a fairytale setting, perfectly located. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The dining room was excellent and the breakfast outstanding.

Hotel is perfectly located, the staff is quite helpful, maybe a little improvement required on the communication side as they sometimes do not respond to emails. The room was very clean and tidy. Will stay here again next time. I also used airport transfer which was good.

From the moment they picked me up at the airport until the moment I checked out everything was perfect. I had a deluxe double on the front of the main building and it was beautiful. There were 4 floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the bridge & town. There were so many nice touches. I was welcomed with roses & chocolates,...

We stayed three nights and found Pod Vezi an excellent hotel. We were accommodated across the street from the main reception but the entrance to the building was very secure with fresh flowers in the hallway. The staff here are amazing, so polite and helpful. You get a 15% discount in their bars and restaurants and the barman remembers your...

Great hotel we where in a separate building which is just across the street, fantastic room clean, well appointed, and very modern loved the little treats left every day. Must highly recommend the staff who on check in gave a great run down on the area, and tours.

Pod Vezi gave us a wonderful week in Prague. Great location.Responsive and eager to please staff. Our room, 122 was lovely with some little extras like flowers, cookies or a few candies each day that made the stay very pleasant. The breakfast was terrific. Everything was better than could be expected. If you go to Prague, book this hotel.

This small but brillant hotel was recommended to us but exceeded expectations. It was ideally placed for exploring Prague. Breakfasts varied from continental to cooked and were tasty with home made smoothies, yoghurt and jam. The restaurant where we had lunch outside one day, had good menu choices and food was tasty. The hotel was spotless, rooms lovely and staff...

My partner and I stayed at the hotel 3 nights for a mini break and could not be more please with our choice of hotel in Prague. From the initial booking to checking out. The hotel contacted us and asked if we would like them to arrange airport transfers, which were excellent and the service continued from there. We staying...

We stayed at the Pod Vezi hotel for a special occasion and the hotel stands its high reputation in every way possible. Location, quality of the accommodation, breakfast and staff exceeded our expectations. A front desk manager Milos even somehow find out that it was my wife's birthday and the hotel presented us with a bottle of an excellent champagne....

My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights in the middle of May. We booked it based on the Trip Adviser reviews and I refused to believe it could be as good as people said it was. Well, dear reader... it's all true. Wonderful hospitality from the moment we were collected at the airport. Very kind and helpful gentlemen...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
