One of Pragues best hotels. Close to Charles Bridge, the castle and most other things in central old town. And such a nice hotel and staff. And the room solutions are PERFECTLY made out with 2 or more rooms

You can't find a hotel located at a better location. The staff will do anything they can to make your stay enjoyable. We were in the Annex which was great. The have a creperie connected to the annex. It's a great place to get a late night treat to take up to your room. I hope to return to Prague... More

Our 2 night stay in Hotel Pod Vezi was awesome! It was everything we hoped for, and we would definitely stay here again. It is an older building (which you can tell from the wear on the stairs) but very well kept. The hotel is at the base of the Charles Bridge right next to the tower so a perfect... More

I really can't say enough great things about Hotel Pod Vezi. Our experience was wonderful and I can't think of anything I'd improve! Our airport transfer to the hotel was seamless. Check in was efficient and thorough. The staff went out of there way to answer all of our questions and even spent time explaining local customs, tourist traps (currency... More

We stayed 3 nights in Hotel Pod Vezi and we loved every minute of it. First of all: the location. Perfect. Just at the end of the Charles bridge, so you got to cross it every time you wanna go I to the old district. It might take an extra 10min but seriously it worth it as it is a... More

There was a mishap with my taxi pick-up when I arrived in Prague, but the staff was so great about fixing it and very apologetic. It was only a half-hour delay. The location is very great - walking distance to most things - and the staff excellent. There was a little something extra each day (basket of fruits, chocolates, and... More

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary weekend. Both the city of prague and the hotel provided a perfect atmosphere. I never encountered such responsiveness, patience and kindness from hotel receptionists! They were all so kind, especially Jaroslav. Our room was clean and spacious though I must say the wooden floor was a bit noisy and you could felt every... More

Great location. We had a room in the separate building 20m away from main hotel. Room & beds were v comfortable & had everything you would expect from a 4 star hotel with complimentary fruit/ chocolates/biscuits. Extensive fresh breakfast in cosy restaurant. The staff were exceptional. Incredibly helpful with lots if good advice on excursions.

We stayed here for 3 nights in sept 2016. We stayed in the annexe of this hotel which was right at the base of the Charles Bridge. It is situated just out of the old town but still close to all things Prague. The service and staff were great. The annexe has a nice roof terrace for afternoon drinks.

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
