Myself and some friends embarked on a road trip across Europe and booked this place as it was one of the cheapest for our two nights in Prague. We had a triple room with bathroom facilities en suite. Reading some of the other reviews it may be worth checking with them first if you want your own private facilities as...

I have no words to describe this place. First of all - no hot water and very low pressure in shower, so it's a big problem to wash yourself even if you are happy to take a cold shower. Broken toilet seat. No coffee/tea facilities, no tv. Old and damaged towels. Very small room, outdated décor. Some stupid things, like...

The price is very good. But the location is very far away, not near to old town square. No kettles, no refrigerator, in which I need. Beds and pillows are so soft that I sprained my neck and back during my sleep!!!! And the room is so hot with all windows were open. No fan can be provided. The curtain...

The receptionist greeted us with a warm hello when we went in. Our room was on the first floor. It was huge which had a large cabinet, drawers, couch and a double bed. It was clean and tidy too. There's no tv but the wifi was fast. Downside was that the toilet was outside near the elevator. But the staff...

Myself and my partner booked this hotel back in March for a three night stay in June. We advised the hotel we would be arriving late due to train times. When we arrived the "reception" was filled with teenagers gathered to watch the Euros, which I found odd for a hotel. The clearly new receptionist informed us that there were...

I had planned on staying in this hotel on Wednesday just gone. When we arrived at the hotel around 7 in the evening we were told a bare face lie about our room being damaged during reconstruction. In fact the hotel had double booked and we ended up being shipped off to a hotel much further away. So far away...

I booked this hotel mainly because of the great price and location although I was a little worried about it because of some of the slating reviews, however, I ended up being really impressed with Hotel Venezia! From the airport we got the 119 bus to Nadrazi Veleslavin, and then from there the metro to Muzeum and then another line...

I had a limited budget available and booked 6 night stay in Prague. Staid in Hotel Venezia and had no problems during the stay. Nobody in the hotel makes noise neither causing problems, it was all fine. They offer basic breakfast and this could be improved by introducing some ham/bacon or real sausages (rather than only frankfurters) and also could...

Great location, 10 minute walk to city centre. We were on 4th floor, lift only went up to 3rd floor. Room pleasant and really comfy beds. Very noisy as close to main road and fire station across the road. Staff were really pleasant and friendly and went out of their way to help, they all spoke English which was good

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
