Salvator is a really nice, cosy hotell. We stayed in room 14, which is a really big room. It is only 5-10 minutes walking distance to the old town square, which make it a perfect place for a city weekend. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We used the hotell airport shuttle service, which also worked great. From airport...

Staff and lodgings at the Hotel Savator couldn't have been better. The hotel also arranges airport transfers and city tour at a reasonable cost. The decor of the hotel is colorful, Spanish style with a bit of modern/pop and Dali art throughout the hotel. Breakfast was a wonderful selection of fresh breads, eggs meats and beverages. Rooms were very large,...

The hotel is nicely located close to the Republic Place. It has a lovely restaurant, nice and very big rooms, and charming staff. I would greatly recommend. I am giving a four star only because of two details: one cup was dirty in our room when we arrived and we ran out of toilet paper the first evening. But the...

I have just returned from Prague staying at the Salvator. Such a delightful place , good clean, warm (Prague was only 1C when I was there!) rooms, very helpful staff and a very good restaurant. The only noise was the sound of the few cars that passed by on this quiet street, because the street is cobbled. It was very...

A unique layout to the hotel, with rooms spread throughout the inner courtyard. Short jaunt to the old town square, but there is also a large mall right behind the hotel. Our room had a double bed and a couch, and they even supplied us with a crib for the baby. Helpful staff at the front desk. Breakfast was excellent...

The location is fantastic. Right next to the town square. 15 min walk to Charles bridge. 100 m to the yellow line metro. Breakfast costed us extra 7€ but worth it. The downside is the breakfast can get very repetitive. Staff are friendly and rooms are big and clean. Excellent value for money.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
