The Good: Great room, spacious and clean. Concierge was very helpful and spoke perfect english. All the major sites were easily walkable, though Prague is a small city. The breakfast was in the adjoining restaurant and was very good quality. The Bad: To get to the restaurant for breakfast you have to put your layers on as you're going through...

Excellent hotel, stayed for 3 nights. Room on 1st floor was huge with separate hall bathroom and toilet. Very quiet at night. Breakfast was excellent with large choice of food. Evening meal was even better, best meal we had whilst in Prague and all others where good. Staff extremely helpful and spoke excellent English. Liverpool, England.

I stayed at the Hotel Salvator for 3 nights and the positive reviews that I read on here were right on the mark. It's an older hotel with just the basic necessities but was extremely clean and secure. My room and ensuite bathroom were very small but had everything I would need. The bathroom facilities had been modernized but the...

This hotel was exceptionally close to all the major land marks within Prague along with 2 shopping centres & an underground supermarket.. The Old Town Square was approx 5mins walk away and a further 5mins to Charles Bridge. Prague Castle was only a 20min walk away. We didn't have to use the transport system once, as everything was so close...

Better to get an en suite rather than sharing a toilet and shower. The breakfast was a feast fit for a king and queen with a wide variety of foods on offer. Great location in the heart of the Jewish Quarter near to metro, tram and bus stops. Oh, by the way there does not seem to be any milk,...

The rooms of the Hotel Salvator surround a central courtyard. On the ground floor, restaurant La Boca provides an excellent buffet breakfast (included in the price of the room), and delicious Italian dinners. Reception clerks spoke English, and were very helpful. We were very easy walking distance to the Jewish Quarter, the Old Town Square, Municipal House, Mucha House museum,...

First, the room was small and the traffic outside was noisy, but they were kindly let me change to a clean, spacious, quiet and cozy room facing the courtyard on the next day. Not only that, the food, service and hospitalities were great! If you would like to add value to your beautiful trip to Prague, choose to stay at...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
