There ste 10 renovated buildings and 2 old, ruined. And In these two old is accomodation located. There is a terrible stink of urine in the hall. The room is small and we had broken lights. But when we try to explain it to recepcionist, she didn't understand us (though we speak Slovak, not even English). I think, that there...

Hostel is located near Hradčany. This fact together with fairly low price influenced our decision. The standard is even lower than the price. Beds were uncomfortable. I guess that is a dormitory and it was not renovated after The Velvet Revolution.. There was no wifi connection in our building. However, if you are looking for cheap place just to stay...

Besides being too expensive for what it is (1 night, 2 people in small bedroom with shared toilet was 20EUR) the staff at the reception were really rude! They didnt know how to speak english and didnt even make an effort to help. The whole place looks like a prison/bunker, it has no Wi-Fi and it is really far away...

I stayed multiple time in this hostel and I will come again for sure. It is the best deal in Prague. Easy to get there from the airport on bus (even at night) and really easy to go from there to the old town, castle, city center, etc. Also, there is a pub or a restaurant in almost each of...

I stayed here as part of a pre-booked group, so I don't know how much was paid for it, but I wouldn't be willing to pay more than 10 EUR a night for it. The rooms vary in condition, with some being more run down than others, but in general you can expect that the rooms are very small and...

because we couldn't find any other affordable hostel, we bookes here. it was aweful! 1 point is for the location because it's close to the observation tower, which many people call "prague's eiffel tower". you can also walk from the tower downhil to the castle. the hostel itself: we didn't get any information from the recpetion at all, they didn't...

It´s a part of university campus. Last year, one building has been changed onto a hostel, where stay only hostel guests and students who pay extra to have single room for studying. So there is no chance to experience wild parties at the corridor. There is a doorman at the entrance and hostel is really almost empty and quiet. If...

Stay away from this hostel. Even though it seems very cheap and not far from the centre, it's literally horlible and there's a chance you will bring bedbugs home from there! Our room smelt of disinfection and we weren't sure why - the reason was bedbugs. Don't get tricked by the clean-looking bed sheets.

If you plan a city trip to Prague in summer and if you're looking for a cheap place to stay, then Hostel Strahov is the place. A doubleroom for one night will cost you 24 Euro's only. It is up on a hill in the middle of student life. During the semesters it is a residential home for students, but...
