The Anna Hotel was the perfect place for a first stay in Prague - the staff speek English well, and are really helpful and friendly. The rooms are warm, spacious, comfortable and clean; delicious continental breakfast from 7am to 10am. It's easy to reach the Old Town by foot, exciting No 22 or 10 tram, or by clean, frequent and...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Anna Hotel. The staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated ( and warm, which was essential as Prague was very cold while we were there!!!). The buffet breakfast was very good, with good quality food and unlimited coffee. Although we didn't find much to do...

We stayed here a few years ago in the annex and was so impressed that we decided to give it another go but this time took my parents as well. Even though the annex has been transformed into another hotel we stayed in the main hotel and had a wonderfult few days. The area near Namesti Miru, is about a...

Nicely located hotel with friendly staff. Metro and tram stops were near and center of the town only a few stos away. Rooms had enough space, were quiet and clean. All the basic services could be found at the hotel with nice small touches like oportunity to buy postcards and stamps from the hotel info. The breakfast was good.

The hotel was a great surprise for me. The location is near to the metro and other public transports, so it was easy to go to the principal tourism points of the city. The hostess were very friendly and do everything to help us and turn our trip more enjoyable. I would definitely recomend the hotel to anyone who ask...

Our first visit to Prague, 18-22 Jan 2010. Having found cheap flights out we found a very good deal by dealing direct with hotel Anna (4 nights for £134). We were a little nervous about being too far out of town but our fears were utterly groundless. The hotel is in a quiet street but within easy walking distance of...

If you're just looking for a room and decent breakfast, this is the place. The room was clean, just old. We were right above the main entrance and could hear the front door opening and shutting, but that was just a location thing. When it wasn't slamming shut, it was dead silent. Breakfast has eggs and sausages in addition to...

Staying in Vinohrady & Vrsovice

Neighbourhood Profile
Vinohrady & Vrsovice
Compared to the medieval heart of Prague, this neighbourhood standing on former vineyards developed very quickly in the first decades of the 19th century. Today, it is the place where everyone wants to live, and those who do, are proud of it. With its amazing parks, classicist houses, terrace cafés, artsy bars, cozy restaurants, markets, and vintage and trendy shops, it is a home for people from all around the world. This area blends expats, families, bohemian students and Prague’s hip community. It is a great place for breakfast in the morning, the best lunch places and a buzzing night life. After sundown, stroll down to Vršovice, the new center of the hipster, alternative and gay scenes in Prague.
