Well preserved Gothic style house with a gothic cellar. I always found it exciting walking down the steps into the cellar for breakfast, although the food was not amazing. I stayed in a small little room in the loft and enjoyed the quaintness that matches with the cobbled streets of Prague. Enjoyable for a short cosy stay.

Betlem Club is small friendly hotel with personal touch and superb location. Hotel rooms are not modern standard simple and boring style. They reflect the style of the old building. Hotel doesn't have own restaurant but there are plenty in the neighbourhood.

Good value for money .. at the price I hadn't expected air con! They supply a good buffet breakfast, 24 hour desk service and there are a couple of Italian and one Czech restaurants nearby (like 'out in the square' in summer). About 5-10 minutes walk to get to main places (Charles Bridge, Town square or no 22 tram which...

The location of this hotel is great, however our room was disgusting. We found hair everywhere in the bathroom and bed. The towels also had stains on them. I wish this hotel was clean because the location is fantastic, however I would never stay again.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights in July of 2015. The property is amazingly well sited, within a few minutes of the Old Town, but still in a peaceful square. Everything I wanted to see was either within walking distance or a short metro ride away. The room was a good size, and modernly furnished, with a decently...

We stayed in this hotel for two nights, the place was nice, if you're after posh this isn't the place. It's an old building and full of character.the staff and nice and helpful. It's a 5 minute walk from the old town square which is handy. If I were to return to prague I'd stay here again.

Small charming and friendly hotel in the city centre! I always stay in here. Once I got room in the attic with jacuzzi! When I stayed over Christmas they put nice sweet present in my room while cleaning. Another time it was our honeymoon, also highly pleasant visit. Staff is very helpful and attentive. No problem if you need to...

I stayed here with my boyfriend for 3 nights in early May and we absolutely loved the place. The location is perfect, in a quieter street but within walking distance of everything to see and do in Prague. We walked everywhere. There are also restaurants right outside the hotel which are lovely. The hotel itself is very simple. We had...

This hotel is in a fantastic location! It's pretty easy to find as we managed to find it using an airport map and walked from the main train station (this was a fair trek!) It's a short walk to Charles Bridge which is fantastic as it's quiet at night, but near enough to the main attractions and restaurants. The staff...

My daughter chose the Betlem Club hotel for our family reunion on Prague, and the hotel was a good choice. We dragged our bags the 2 km or so from the train station because of the outrageous prices the taxis wanted (about $40), so we were not in a great mood upon arrival. The hotel is on a hidden street...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
