I found the bed was extremely unconfortable, very noisy, extremely simple, it had a very poor feeling. Towels provided were a joke. It has a wonderful location tough and nice staff. It would be totally ok if it were cheaper, I believe for what I was paying I should have got much more, specially compared to other accommodation I had...

We were very pleased with this accommodation selection for our short stay in Prague. Cute, comfortable and very clean. The shared bathroom was close by (clean with a decent sized shower) and we never had to wait to use it. The beds were typical European – a bit on the hard side for us wimpy North Americans. The lack of...

My room was basic, did not expect much. On the whole, i just needed a place to sleep after a late night arrival and to be near the train stationIn the next morning. The host was very helpful and saved me some time searching for a currency exchange.

Great service and friendly staff. Very affordable and the location is great too. Could have been a little bit cleaner. The breakfast for 115 CZK was alright with everything you need. Yoghurt, juice, bread, ham, jam, cheese, coffie, the. If I come back to Prag I would stay here again.

A great place to spend a few nights and explore the city from if you are looking for no-frills, simple accommodation. Church Pension is ideally located to reach all the major attractions on foot. We were shown in by the doorman and got a warm, friendly welcome from the manager who explained everything in perfect English and showed us our...

In 2009 I led a group of college students and stayed at this pension. This month I returned with my wife and colleagues. Nothing has changed! This Pension is clean and has affordable rooms. The location is ideal - a few blocks from the subway. However, the best aspect about this pension is the manager, Jaroslav. This Christian man went...

This Hotel is very well located, closed to the Tram stop, next to many stores, restaurants and from 10 to 15 minutes walk from the downtown. The staff is very friendly. In the same street you will find the restaurant "U Balbínů" and there you can have good beer and good food!

I stay here when i was in Praque and wanted a inexpensive accomodation, since i was travelling by myself and would be walking outside most of the time. The people who worked there were really friendly and helpful. The room is very simple with windows and the bed was comfortable. The shared shower is often wet but that is probably...

This hotel is right near the heart of the city, only a few minutes walk and you are at Charles Bridge. The room was clean and comfortable, it had its own shower with a shared toilet. the shower needed updating as the shower head didn't fit on the wall so you had to balance it on the tap. Also the...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
