My partner and I stayed at Clementin Old town on a recent trip to Prauge. The location is central to the old town, there are some lovely restaurants and bars on your door step. The staff at the hotel are really friendly and work really hard. The breakfast was a selection of meat, cheese, bread, toast, fruit, yogurt, pastries and...

Perfect location (the best trdelnik & ice cream shop is next door!) in the heart of Prague; very friendly staff and a cosy, characterful hotel. The cafe/bar Clementin just across the street was also very relaxing & friendly and great for watching people choose their trdelnik & ice cream flavours - made with fresh ingredients right in front of you...

great staff, wonderful breakfast, outstanding location for everything in Prague. the staff couldn't help us enough. Charle bridge is only 4 minutes walk away, restaurants in the courtyard outside, 3 mins walk to the famous click and old square.. just awesome.. only drawbacks are very small rooms and showers over a high bath.. tricky for bad knees... but that was...

We stayed in this lovely hotel on our first trip to Prague and what a good choice as it was so full of character just like the rest of old town Prague. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. As I was by myself they gave me the most delightful room at the top of the hotel....

My husband and I were bought this trip as a Christmas gift. We have always wanted to visit Prague and we were not disappointed. The place is amazing and the Hotel excellent. To be fair, the lift is extremely small so, if you are 'larger than life' two of you with suitcases could find it a bit of a squeeze....

Hotel Clementin was the best! Little gem in the heart of the old town. Staff were amazing, friendly and attended to all our needs. We were late checking out (slept in) and they didn't even mind. The Clementin cafe outside of the hotel was awesome too. We made good friends with the bartenders and they looked after us. If you...

Really good choice for staying in Prague - the location is great, near to Old Town, near to Charles bridge and Prague Castle, the hotel is small, but beautiful, the staff is nice and the price is really "user friendly" with respect to the location! I recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to see the Old Town and the...

Everything we wanted in our short stay in Prague. Very central and especially close to Charles bridge. Room was a decent size and it was in great condition. Service was great and very helpful. It's a 20 min walk from central station. Breakfast was great with a small selection of hot food. Cute little hotel tucked away in a peaceful...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
