We visited Prague last weekend and enjoyed every minute of our stay at The Aria Hotel. On arrival we were greeted warmly and invited for a tour of the hotel and offered a complimentary drink in the relaxing and luxurious bar. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The gardens are amazing and have... More

Great location, superb amenities, excellent staff (particularly the Concierge, Ivana), great rooftop restaurant AND decorated with Chagalls and Dali’s – what’s not to like?? Among the nice touches: we checked out of the Aria early in the morning to catch our flight back home. As we were leaving, the desk clerk presented my husband and me with two bags filled... More

Rooms were spacious for a European hotel, spotless, and very comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful. Staff was friendly, very helpful, and courteous. Location was terrific. Outdoor gardens were lovely. I would recommend without hesitation.

We had the pleasure of staying at Aria Hotel last year during our first trip to Prague and it was one of the most unique, top-notch experiences I've had (See review "A Most Unique, Welcoming Experience"). My partner had the opportunity to head back to Prague for work last week, so I tagged along and we spent our last night... More

My husband and I traveled to Prague in October. It was our first trip to the Czech Republic and the staff at the Aria made everything so easy! They could not have been more thorough; from the welcome tour and comp beverage to advise on places to see to the car service that was very affordable. The breakfast buffet is... More

The Aria Hotel is an amazing oasis in the heart of beautiful Prague. The facilities and staff leave nothing wanting. The tastefully themed rooms are delightful! This is the only place to stay! Check out the artwork throughout the hotel, the garden, and the rooftop terrace. You won't be disappointed.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Aria hotel as our first stop on our honeymoon. The staff at the Aria were wonderful. From the moment of our arrival, they made us feel as though we were their only guests. The tour of the hotel was a nice introduction, and Martin took the time to review the highlights of... More

A charming boutique hotel with friendly, courteous staff, impeccable service and large comfortable rooms. After a day of touring, the heated bathroom floors, great shower and cozy Frette robes were a welcome luxury. And, thanks to a blissfully quiet room and a wonderful mattress, we slept soundly during our entire seven-day visit. The Continental Breakfast offered a large and attractive... More

This hotel is well placed. It is the only high level hotel owned by Czechs rather than international chain. The service was honestly the best I can recall for a long time in travels through many countries US and Europe. Polite, quite, discreet and friendly. Concierges (both of them) could not have been more helpful, honest and prompt. Rooms were... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
