Two weeks ago we stayed at the ADLER Hotel in the city centre of Prague. It sounds like a German Hotel and true its name it was a good quality 3-star standard city hotel. The hotel offers besides a very good comfort / all overall - room was spacious, elegant with a tidy bathroom, big comfortable bed and a super...

We stayed in this hotel for 3nights, it was my birthday present. The room was small but had most of what We wanted (just no kettle or ironing board-there was an ironing service 9-5 but we kept missing the times for this). The bathroom is tiny, but shower is nice and hot most of the time and it's cleaned well....

Really central, we were able to easily walk everywhere. Really good to have free WIFI in the rooms. Breakfast wasn't great (spaghetti for breakfast?!) but was good value as we didn't realise it was included in the price of the room! Room was nice, very big and warm! Would stay here again.

We stayed here after being told that our original hotel was overbooked. It was really a lucky break as it is more central to the city than that one we had booked. Our rooms were spacious and warm ( too warm, had to keep the window open at night ). There isn't a lot of atmosphere in the hotel but...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
