The excellent points were; the location to the heart of Prague. We could walk to and from all points of interest. Located near the metro and tram stops. Staying in the rear of the hotel was very quiet given the closeness to Wencelas Plaza. Overlooking a Franciscan monks former gardens and the gentle clock bell each hour. The reception staff...

The location is superb... Right on Wenceslas Square. The Executive Suite is very nice. The reception staff is very helpful and mostly speak fluent English. I would happily stay there again. The Executive suite is very nice, but not perfect. If a handyman spent a couple of hours in the room, it could be perfect. There were just a few...

The hotel is in the middle of New Prague city, and a walk away from shopping centers. The service inside the hotel is efficient and fast. The breakfast buffet is delicious and rich, rooms are specious and clean. It was a really pleasant experience.

I was looking for a hotel in Prague that was centrally located with a balcony as I love to sit outdoors and get fresh air. I chose the EA Julis and stayed for 4 nights in September. My first impression of the hotel was that it was stark and somewhat industrial. I imagined Communist era big wigs staying there for...

I stayed here for 3 nights in October 2016. The rooms are very clean & good in size. The staff at reception desk were very polite & helpful but staff at breakfast were bit rude. This location of this hotel is very convenient & central. I recommend this hotel.

It's an average hotel at most. Well located but noisy. No blackout curtains in the room I was in (lots of light in your face in the morning). A little "messy" in general terms. A good breakfast, but with some very bizarre items (at least for my taste).

Don't be worried about a room at the front overlooking Wenceslas Sq - interesting sights and quiet enough with the windows closed. Ideal location and ideal if you want a kitchenette. Maybe slightly tired furnishings but clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast and patio overlooking gardens is lovely. Very helpful reception.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
