Lovely hotel in a peaceful road about 2 minutes walk from Prague castle with lovely views across Petrin Park. The staff were wonderful. Always willing to help, booking us restaurants, taxis and organising tours. Very much recommend a stay here.

What a true gem! Beautiful room, comfy bed, enormous bathroom, and gorgeous view. The breakfast included in the room rate was by far the nicest and most varied I have ever experienced. The staff was quite welcoming and helpful. I really liked the location, easy to get across the bridge but in a MUCH quieter area. Good restaurants within walking...

This is a charming hotel, in a convenient, quiet location, run by really helpful, friendly people. All of the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble (giving advice, arranging airport transfers, knocking up some extra scrambled eggs when we were late down for breakfast one day). The hotel itself is almost hidden - just a front door...

Spent a week at this hotel. It is in a great location with wonderful views and a super terrace. The staff are welcoming, kind and generous. They were always eager to answer our questions and give us advice. It is spotlessly clean and well run. It has the advantage of being close to the castle, yet in a quiet almost...

Overall impression: A beautiful hotel in the Castle district of Prague. Perfect for those who want a restful stay but still within easy reach of many local attractions. Positives: - Spacious bedroom - Clean hotel areas and bedroom cleaned daily - Simple but tasteful decor - Beautiful views and balcony seating areas (stunning view of Petrin tower from room 8!)...

Overall excellent hotel--we were met at the train station by the hotel's driver. He was very friendly and helpful (also took us back to the station at the end of our stay); Martina at the hotel made us feel at home. She made reservations for our first dinner in Prague at a wonderful restaurant at the monastery. Our room (#1)...

A most friendly hotel in the agreeable Mala Strana. Close to the castle and on walking distance from the Old Town. But also quiet, without irritating crowds. The view on the city is amazing and you can make a relax walk in the Petrinpark. The fruittrees were blossoming: a wonderful sight from the terrace of the hotel! Price versus quality...

Tucked away with beautiful views across to the Tower, this lovely boutique hotel is the perfect place to stay if you want to be away from the noise of the city. Good restaurants nearby including the Bellevista which has amazing views across the city. It is perfectly situated for the castle, therefore is at the top of the hill our...

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighbourhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
