2 friends and I just rented the 5 bed dorm for a few days. The room was clean and the beds comfortable however the windows have no curtains and the rooms no ventilation, a/c or fans and due to the noise outside the windows needed to be closed without these the room was stifling! And without the curtains the roo....

Stayed in a 5 bedroom dormitory at a very reasonable price. The room had a private bathroom and shower. A good continental breakfast was available for a very good price (believe it was less than 1€). The location was PERFECT and we were very pleased to find a 24hr reception as we had to leave at 5am. The only complaints...

What I will say is that this hostel is in the PERFECT spot. Literally minutes walk from old square and beautiful spot. HOWEVER, please read about how noisy it is. Coming from a major city I didn't think it would bother me but I did not sleep a wink the first night. Bring earplugs - not joking. Also the room...

Great location, poor security. This is probably happens once in a thousand. But during my stay here I got money and phone stolen. Staff didn't care or want to involve. A staff even quoted "Travelling is tough."

When I checked in, I was asking about info on how to go Bohemian, the receptionist forgot to gave me towel and bedsheet. I rushed out for dinner too. When I came back, I asked roommate about where they get the towel, they told me from receptionist, so I went to request. But he told me he gave. I went...

I have been to a lot of hostels in Prague over the last few months, and I finally fell upon Ritchie's at the last moment. This place is pretty solid if you want to get rest and be respected. They keep the noise down and seem to have their guests under control. While not the most attractive inside, how much...

I was very impressed with the location of this hostel. It was easy to get from the central train station via the metro. It's surrounded by traditional streets, and is only a five minute walk to the Old Town Square and Charles Bridge. It's also only a short walk (10 minutes) away from a Tesco! Perfect for getting food cheap,...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
