This hostel is really nice. The rooms were clean and cute. The morning breakfast buffet was cheap and delicious and the staff was really helpful and friendly. The hostel is located just below the hill of Prague castle too!

We were very happy to stay at Arpacay. As a group of three girls, we felt very safe and comfortable. The hostel is well located and was surrounded by some excellent restaurants. The rooms were very clean, WiFi excellent and they had cheap snacks available. Our only issues were how noisy the rooms were, they had very thin walls and... More

My friends and I stayed in the attic dorm room, with plenty of space to spread out. The climb to the top of the building was about 4 floors. The building is secure and they have lockers for your valuables inside the rooms. We used the fully equipped kitchen to cook in (hint, buy food from brand name markets, like... More

Brilliant hostel that is situated next to plenty of restaurants and not too far from Charles Bridge. The rooms were great, our dorm had a hammock! Great night's sleep. The only downside was that there were 16 of us sharing one toilet/two showers. Still can't grumble as it was so cheap and clean!

This is a really nice hostel with nice staff, clean rooms and great beds that all have a locker you can store your things in. Located on a really popular, pretty street - the walks to the main attractions are really, really pleasant. If you plan to cook, you'll have to buy your groceries closer into town. The corner stores... More

It was the first time I've traveled to Prague and I decided to stay there because of its fares and location. For my surprise, the hostel was super clean, the staff was gentle, the location is great. I'd come back there and definitely recommend it.

We stayed for 2 nights in a 6-bed-female-dorm (shared bathroom). The staff was friendly and fluent in English. The room was clean and tidy. The issue would be the bathroom, at night the sinks were kinda messy and wet. Maybe the hostel management want to work on that. :) They serve a decent breakfast if you would pay 1-2 Euros... More

Arpacay became the place of residence for a pre-xmas city break due mainly the fact it was cheap. Do not however be fooled by the price, the hostel itself is situated in the old town and is a stones throw away from the castle and a short distance from Charles Bridge. The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and... More

This place is what is called good value for money, it is very cheap for groups taking its positioning into account, close to everything important in Prague even by feet. Clean place with nice receptionist. Not tried their breakfast though. Friendly environment around with many restaurants.

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighbourhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
