I really can't fault this place. Firstly it's location is excellent, five minutes walk to the Charles Bridge, ten minutes to the old town square. Loads of bars, restaurants and clubs nearby. Staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is tasteful and charming with a lovely courtyard decorated with a huge Christmas tree. Room was great, massive comfy bed, lovely... More

Old building which is full of character. I think I had one of the cheaper rooms but I couldn't have wished for anything better. Maybe a view but that didn't matter. Large, comfortable room with a generously proportioned bathroom. As is often the case in Prague the breakfast room was in a beautiful vaulted cellar. Breakfast itself was a buffet... More

Location and staff are very good. Room acceptable quality. But heating of the room were not enough room was too cold and there was a noise all night from ventilation system. There were no addition pillow at board and although there were many drinks at refrigerator there were no beer...unfortunately we lost one night due to cold and noise

OK. Told my taxi driver the name of the hotel and he gives me a funny name. Told him the street and he goes OK. It's about 15-20 minutes drive from the airport. 5 minutes from the Charles Bridge (walking), about 10 minutes from the Old Square (walking). On arrival we were greeted by David I think his name is.... More

Good find. Great location! We booked this hotel based on all the good reviews. We're glad we did. The location is walking distance from all the main attractions. Also walking distance from a grocery store in case you need few things. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is very good. Large variety of food and drinks. We would... More

If you care about having 1 large bed, make sure to say something at the front desk when you check in. We booked a superior room, that was on special to come with a free upgrade if available. I was quite looking forward to this, because I had looked for a hotel in a central location in Prague that had... More

Had a few days in Prague for a friend's birthday and had a lovely time. The staff from our arrival were nothing but helpful and friendly. They recommended a selection of restaurants all of which we tried and were pleased with. They remembered it was a birthday celebration and very kindly left a half bottle of local Czech sparkling wine... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
