The staff was really helpful and smiling! The rooms were big and clean, the toilets not so much because none of the guests cared about keeping them clean. The kitchen was underground and was very nice, with big tables and sofas! However my friend had...More
I was not really expecting much when I booked my stay but I have to say, this hostel is pretty awesome for the price. Right next to charles bridge, amazingly beautiful common area/kitchen. The rooms are small, probably because this looked like an old heritage...More
This central has a charming underground self-catering kitchen, but unfortunately that is the only positive. Staff are unfriendly, the rooms are cramped and dirty, and the atmosphere is very noisy. If you are not a late night partier, I do not recommend this place.
Stayed for 3 nights in a private dorm - brilliant standard and very affordable! Really good location, right next to the bridge and a short distance walk away from the centre. It also had great info regarding things to do (handy leaflets for food, drinks,...More

Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch
shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
