Stayed here for 1 night, we arrived and were a bit confused as there was no main entrance just a big front door with a bell. We entered the small reception, check in was easy. No lifts so had to carry our cases up 3 flights of stairs, got to our room and the cleaner was still in there. We...

We were there for 3 days last month... Firstly - the staff are very friendly and helpful. We had booked our train tic to budapest which was to be delivered to the hotel and the staff were very nice in contacting the transport company and making sure the tickets were delivered on time. Breakfast - very minimal - basic fruits,...

Great location close to the square. Comfortable with friendly staff. Was a little noisy early hours but Prague is a busy city and we did visit in the height of Summer. Breakfast was limited but suited our needs. Very clean. If you want a good value, small Hotel I would recommend this one.

This hotel is like going into the Tardis as it only has a front door but it is so nice and friendly when you get inside, the reception staff make you feel welcome. The rooms are big and the cleaner comes in each day. There is a market outside but it does not disturb your sleep when they are setting...

The hotel is ok, and it`s very central. Friendly staff, and breakfast is included. The breakfast was ok, all you need. No elevator in the building, quite heavy to carry the suitcases up to the room. We did not like the carpets on the floor. We had to have the window open through the night ,because there is no A/C....

A great find. Hotel reception is open 24 hrs with English speaking, friendly staff. There is no elevator in the building. Breakfast is included. Just a few mins walk to the old town square. About 8 mins to the river and Charles bridge. A few mins to Wenclesnes square. And 15 min easy walk to train station. Right outside the...

Great location, very central and great price. Beds extremely comfy and shower was fantastic. Decor definitely needs refreshing, carpets were stained and there were some stains and paint peeling off the walls in our room. Be warned if you are visiting during the summer, the rooms get very warm at night and there is no air con. We couldn't have...

The hotel could hardly be more central. Very easy to walk anywhere. I walked from the train station to the hotel and once I had left my luggage I continued on foot to the castle. Rooms are nice, clean and quite spacious. It is in a charming old building, but this has the downside of steep stairs and no air-conditioning....

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
