First and foremost this Hotel is quaint and spectacular. The food is great in the restaurant. the courtyard music and night was awesome. The breakfast buffet is second to none. The area the hotel resides in is a quite, safe and super convenient to the old downtown with a 2 block walk that ends with walking across the Charles bridge...

The most wonderful gift a hotel can grant to its guests is to welcome them back as cherished friends and not only like another bookers. It's been our second time here and the staff showed us the highest level of service as usual, answered every of my questions and greeted us dearly. We were truly happy to once again meet Peter...

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. It is absolutely gorgeous and the service is impeccable. The breakfast was amazing...huge and wonderful selection. And the afternoon wine and cheese, a really nice touch. I also met some really lovely hotel guests at wine and cheese, which made my stay even nicer. I also enjoyed the spa very much....

This is a great location for couples. This hotel shattered all our expectations with world class service and extremely friendly staff. The hotel itself is one of the nicest places we have seen in Europe. Highly recommended!

The Alchymist hotel offers old world furnishings accented with gold paint. The rooms are tastefully furnished with an adjoining foyer and bathroom. The complementary breakfast is good with a selection of the usual meats and vegetables. The dinning room is tastefully furnished with an attentive staff to make your experience enjoyable. Unfortunately, what could have been a more enjoyable experience...

This is an exceptionally charming, beautiful and well run hotel. The public rooms are full of baroque over-the-top charm, comfortable gilded wood and cushion covered sofas everywhere and "cabinets of curiosities". Bliss to sink into its comfort and enjoy free wine and cheese from 5 to 6. Breakfast is exceptional if you can bear to leave your comfortable bedroom by...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
