The hotel is fairly convenient for all the major attractions of the old town. It has exemplary and friendly service where no request is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious and traditional with extremely comfortable king sized beds. Breakfasts are superb and the fine dining menu and wine list are marvellous. Particulary enjoyed the daily wine tasting events and...

The place is very beautiful in a 16th century Prague mansion. All there is top class. What is needed for Romance trip or those who love antics, old stones and culture. Of course you need the necessary wallet size. But it is worth it

My husband and I stayed here over Christmas and had a wonderful stay. The hotel is truly luxurious with beautiful furnishings and a lovely restaurant. A favourite addition for us was the complimentary cheese and wine served every night between 5pm and 6pm. The hotel is in a great location and the service was also fantastic.

We were visiting Prague to celebrate our wedding anniversary, we hadn't visited before. The hotel is grand in an unusal way but extremely clean in all areas. We had breakfast included in the trip and there was plenty of choice of continental style and cooked variations. Our visit co-incided with extreme cold even for Prague but the hotel was always...

Located closed to the old town center and the Charles Bridge (a great location for visiting Prague). We were enjoying a 4 days honeymoon in the coldest season of the year(last week of January with -8 degrees C and snow all around) but it was great and warm enough thanks to the hotel staff kind details (a glass of Champagne...

We booked the hotel based on the positive reviews on tripadvisor and we are very glad we did! We were met with welcoming smiles and professional courtesy on a cold, early January morning. We were given a room even though we arrived as early as 0930. Check in was fast and we were shown to our room by a helpful...

Bottom line first: This hotel is one of the best and lovely hotels we (Osnat and Gil) have ever been in. This was a 5 day vacation to celebrate Osnat's 40's birthday. The atmosphere was very romantic and quite, while including all the facilities you expect from a 5 star hotel, including a beautiful, decorated underground spa floor with a...

This hotel is wonderfully located to discover every neighborhood in central Prague. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms beautifully appointed, comfortable and clean. The hotel has a lot of charm and I would be pleased to return one day.

This is a lovely hotel on a quiet street in Mala Strana, just beneath the walls of Prague Castle. The building is old but it was completely gutted and reconstructed, so everything is beautiful and works perfectly. The decoration is luxurious, the staff very friendly and courteous, and the location is superb -- walking distance to the Castle, the Charles...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
