Stayed two nights with friends. Hotel is easy to find, very good location and there is few good restaurants near. Lobby bar works well. Good service and price-level is reasonable for lobby bar. But the room.. from the late 80´s or early 90´s. Only good thing was that it was easy to talk with friends which stayed next room (yes,...

Good hotel about 15 minute walk to the center (old town) but still surrounded by plenty of restaurants and bars. Reasonably quiet area, close to the river which helps with the navigation. The room was large, warm, comfortable and clean although the decor was poor, the floors are tiled and somewhat dated. The bar is nice and the bar staff...

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in September 2016. We found the staff friendly and helpful, the room was a good size with a comfortable bed. Although away from the Old Square and Charles Bridge area, it was only a 5-10 minute walk to those destinations. The area surrounding the hotel had two good Czech restaurants and a...

Good, clean friendly hotel not too far from the Old Town and near a tram stop (No. 5). Close enough for most of the museums, galleries to be reached on foot and if not you can use the tram. Buffet breakfast included.

We stayed at the hotel from Sunday to Tuesday during a stag do and driving through Prague to get there we were a little concerned at what we may have being staying in for the price we paid. As it turns out the price got us a spectacular hotel, lovely high ceiling rooms with a shower toilet and bidet, a...

The bedrooms are pretty basic but have everything you need for a short stay, and the rest of the hotel is quite lovely and well decorated. Free breakfast was a bonus and the wifi is pretty good. There were some dirty marks around our room such as on the walls but generally the bathroom and the rest of the hotel...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
