The bedrooms are pretty basic but have everything you need for a short stay, and the rest of the hotel is quite lovely and well decorated. Free breakfast was a bonus and the wifi is pretty good. There were some dirty marks around our room such as on the walls but generally the bathroom and the rest of the hotel...

We arrived at the Hotel Caesar rather late in the evening and were given a non-smoking room that had clearly housed a smoker. The front desk staff was helpful in providing us with another room that did not smell like cigarette smoke. There were several things I liked about the hotel... The ceiling height in room was great, the bathroom...

This is a tastefully-renovated old hotel in the old city near to the river which we stayed in for two nights. The room was beautiful - authentic, stylish and traditional although nothing old about it. The restaurant and bar are large; breakfast was included in the stay and was self-service, varied and plentiful. Staff were super-nice and couldn't be more...

Great hotel with a fantastic location only ten minutes from Charles Bridge. Friendly hotel staff, free room upgrade was a very nice surprise after a long day of travelling. Room was very clean. Breakfast was good. Very nice stay.

Stayed at Hotel Caesar Prague for a week. People at the reception were quite helpful - helped with transportation and recommended restaurants. Room was spacious and always clean; the cleaning staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good - they could have offered more varieties, but overall it was ok. Location was very convenient: tram station at the end of the...

Nice hotel in walking distance to most tourist attractions and nightlife. Clean room with 2 windows and great working wifi. Like most hotels I've visited in Prague the standard of the rooms are pretty low, as expected. Would recommend.

Arrived here for a three day stay and the immediate impression was that it was small but inside it was a pleasant surprise as its clean and well run. The rooms are great and the food marvellous. It is also not small. I liked the cleaners and staff in the restaurant. The main reception was informative but felt it lacked...

This was not an expensive hotel but still wasn't the cheapest. The location is great if you don't mind walking around as there are coffee places and restaurants/bars around. Public transportation is also available very close by. The staff at the reception was super helpful and friendly at all times! Definitely they could use some more hands at times but...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
