I have just returned from a trip to Prague with a friend and stayed in the Hotel Legie as our original hotel was fully booked. We had a triple room, as originally there were to be 3 of us travelling. On arrival at around 10pm local time, the lobby lights were turned off giving the initial impression that nobody was...

My local Czech friend helped me find this hotel after seeing the high price I was paying for a private room in a nearby hostel. She negotiated a good price for me -- payment in cash only -- but it would not have been particularly expensive anyway, by Prague standards. I had a fantastic room. Top (8th) floor, garden-facing. As...

Hotel Legie is a nice hotel, old style place - could be bulit in 30's or 40's, really good value for the price. The room was tidy, cleaned every day. We had a great view also. The only negatives: traffic noise (that was the price for a great location very close to the centre), heat (our room was on the...

We've just come back from a weekend in Prague where we stayed at Hotel Legie and there's really nothing to complain about. If pushed, I'd say the smell of stale smoke in the bedroom wasn't particularly nice(even though there were smokers in the group), the breakfast isn't covered & the lift is an experience due to there being no barrier...

We (2 couples) travelled to Prague for a 40th birthday. The rooms in the hotel Legie were spotless and very large. We had a kingsize bed and 2 singles. The shower was adequate but had no shower curtain so the bathroom floor was usually wet! Good breakfast with choice of cereals, fruit, meats, eggs, juices etc. We took the 119...

The Hotel Legie was absolutely brilliant! Me and my Mum went for a trip too Prague. When the taxi pulled up outside the hotel, we were not 100% as it does look a little shabby. But once inside we could see that we were wrong! The staff are really friendly, the rooms are cleaned every day, and the rooms are...

Arriving in a party of five guys (39-43 years not a stag outing) at mid-day we were informed that our rooms would not be ready until 1400 hrs, although the receptionist was kind enough to allow us to leave our luggage in a secure baggage room. However we were taken aback when the receptionist requested a deposit of 1000 CZK...
