This Was our second stay in Prague. Last year we made that mistanke to book a room without air condition. So that Was a high priority. The staff Was really friendly and spoke a decent english, all days. The room Was really big, and The pillows are not flat anymore :D (read that in some other reviews). You needed a...

This is a somewhat strange hotel, it is part of a six story building, but the hotel only occupies the top floor. The rooms were very sizeable and comfortable. The food was a fixed menu but was very nice both dinner and breakfast. The downside was there was no lounge and limited bar facilities, al be it plenty of bars...

We were there for 2 weekend nights with a group of ca. 50 people. Singles, couples, families etc. It was very nice, clean hotel! What we had missed was the common area where we could all stay together. Rooms were very different. Some couples had extremely big spacious ones, another very small ones... The price was the same though. There...

You have easy and quick connections to the center of Prague, entrance to subway station in front of the hotel door and also many tram lines within walking distance. Also the bus station is situated in front of the hotel. The ride to the international airport leaves from here and costs 32 Check Koruna (1 Euro = 27 CZK). Frequent...

Location: 4/5. It is infront of a metro station, also it is close to many resturants, shops and supermarkets. Food: 3/5. Only tried their breakfast. It is limited but okay. Service 3/5. The house keeper needs to do a better job in cleaning, and some staff need to learn to be friendly. Except there is a man at the reception...

We stayed here for five days and were positively surprised. The room was very big, had a nice enough view, with all you need of a hotel room. Mini bar, nice tv, good beds, warm bathroom, safe, closet, etc. Very welcoming staff. 5 meters from metro, 100 meters from tram. Still quiet enough.

One of the best hotels I have experienced in Czech Republic. Nice clean and large room, great service and near the bus station that takes you to the airport. I was departing early in the morning and they even prepared me a breakfast bag. Highly recommended!

I love this hotel!! I would not stay anywhere else in Prague. The prices are very reasonable and I cannot fault the establishment in any way. Clean, spotless, airy rooms with good heating/conditioning controls. I loved my balcony and the view over the city. Lovely staff, accommodating and knowledgeable. The restaurant is Prague's best value for money. Fresh food at...

We already stayed in this hotel twice. Last time in March 2015 for 6 nights. Rooms are in 7th floor reachable only by one elevator. Rooms are very nice, spacious, clean and comfortable. Fully length balcony with nice view. Andel Metro station is just outside the hotel so this is also big advantage for further city exploring. Friendly staff. Good...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Newly reconstructed Akcent hotel is a modern 3-star budget hotel with a friendly atmosphere located on the 7th floor of a 1930s Functionalist-style office building and can boast splendid views of Prague from all 53 rooms. The hotel is situated in the heart of Smichov quarter, just a 3 minute walk from one of Prague's major commercial and entertainment zones, where two big shopping malls Novy Smichov and Zlaty Andel are to be found. Guests highly value the hotel's location also for easy and quick connections to the centre of Prague. With an entrance to the Andel subway station right outside hotel front door, and several tram line stops nearby, the entire historical centre of the "City of Hundred Spires" is just 5 minutes away, while picturesque Lesser Town, park Kampa and Petrin Hill is only a 20 minute walk. Not far is also river Vltava and Vysehrad Castle. Hotel's location is also very convenient for tourists coming for Prague Beer Tour as Staropramen brewery is in surroundings. ... more   less
