I stayed a single room on the first floor. The room itself was very basic, but had all necessary amenities. PROS: Great location! You are a 2-minute walk from Charles Bridge and can get to most attractions in with no more than a 20 - 30 minute walk. It is located off the road a bit, so you don't hear... More

First person that checked us in was very pleasant and he was great assistance. We Stayed here for the location. Unfortunately, we were Given a "standard room" in the attic. Not what we were originally told. Very hot was a 30+ day. On a loud street. Poor small floor fan. Small window. No circulation. Room has exposed diagonal beams?? Late... More

Dear Mr. Lushaw, we are very sorry that your stay in Pension U Lilie was so bad. Unfortunately the night porter is not the person who usually solves this situation. Also I know that his english is not good and maybe it is the reason why he looked like rude person. To be honest when a native speaker quickly screaming... More

The best part of this hotel has to be its location - just minutes away from the Charles bridge and all the action yet quite peaceful in the evenings. The hotel itself is a charming little building with rooms centered around a cozy courtyard. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The reception staff is friendly and helpful and the included... More

We didn't stay at the hotel, we didn't even know that it's a hotel. We were looking a restaurant, so we we had lunch and then coming back again for dinner there. because it's convenient, near the charles bridge and the food is good.

Pension is a nice budget guest house. The best part about it is that it's very very close to the old town and Charles bridge one can walk to most touristic places .Staff at the reception will give you guidelines .I always choose hotels that offer a kettle for boiling water as I like to have a cup of tea... I had stayed at Pension U Lilie on a previous occasion and enjoyed it quite a lot. When I thought I was going to go to Prague again, I booked a room there for myself and my wife. The booking was made five months before the planned trip. Within days I realized that I would not be going to Prague... More

Stayed here for four nights in March. The location was great. The bedroom and bathroom were on the small side, but they were clean and comfortable. Our room was on the street and was somewhat noisy at night. The breakfast wasn't great, but it was nice to have available. The owners were very helpful, and had good recommendations for restaurants... More

What a wonderful find! We were walking distance to just about everything! Walked to the Charles Bridge, music venues, many restaurants, etc. The room was quite comfortable and the beds were very comfortable. It was quite warm but they provided fans for the room. That really helped. The included breakfast was wonderful. I would highly recommend this Pension to anyone!

I stayed in this lovely pension in the end of July 2015, and I must highly recommend it to everyone, who considers visiting Prague. Pension is situated in very city centre, literally few steps from Charles Bridge and the Old Town square. Since my arrival was the reception staff really friendly and helpful. The room was well furnished and big... More

This was near the Charles Bridge and bang in the center of the Old Town. It was also incredible value. It was a rooftop apartment so you had to climb a ladder to reach it. There was no air conditioning, only a fan. The bathroom was clean, modern and nice with a shower. The room was very small.

Thank Jose R

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
